and unanimously approved by the Court, it is hereby ordered that the Commissioners Court
of Kerr County grant its consent to the appointment of Stephen B. Ables to the office of
Assistant County Attorney; the said Stephen B. Ables to have the same powers and authority
as the County Attorney and to serve at the expense and will of the said County Attorney.
This consent is subject, however, to the said Stephen B. Ables taking the official oath of
office and depositing it in the office of the County Clerk.

Attorney, Stephen B. Ables, be set at $3600.00 per annum, effective the date of his qualifica-
tion, the same being August 12, 1974, payable out of Officers Salary Fund.

On this the 12th day of August 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, second-

Reporter of the 198th Judicial District, at $4619.78 per annum, effective as of September 1,
1974.
