ROSS AND WIFE, LEONA ROSS FOR RIGHT OF WAY FOR STATE HIGHWAY 16 On this the 12th day of August, 1974, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of acquiring a parcel of land designated by the Texas Highway Department as right of way Parcel No. 22 from George E. Ross and wife, Leona Ross, for the reconstruction of State Highway 16, and it appearing to the Court that, as a result of prior negotiations between the owners and Kerr County an agreed consideration for the conveyance of the said Parcel No. 22 has been arrived at, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County offers to pay George E. Ross and wife, Leona Ross, the sum of $5,300.00 as compensation for land and ~/ damages for their conveyance to the State of Texas of a parcel of land comprising 1.309 acres out of Survey No. 147, N. Hoyt, with payment being made upon approval for filing and recorda- tion by the Texas Highway Department of the owners properly executed right of way deed, which approval shall be conditioned on final title approval and payment of all ad valorem taxes, including current taxes heretofore assessed against the property conveyed, and it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the Highway 16 right of way fund in the amount of $5,300.00 payable to George E.
