taxes, including current taxes heretofore assessed against the property conveyed, and it
is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the
Highway 16 right of way fund in the amount of $5,300.00 payable to George E. Ross and wife,
Leona Ross, which voucher shall be delivered to the owners upon final approval for filing
and recordation by the Texas Highway Department of the right of way deed as aforesaid.

NO. 12201 ACCEPTANCE OF PROPOSAL OF LINCOLN NATIONAL LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY TO PROVIDE
GROUP AND LIFE INSURANCE FOR KERR COUNTY EMPLOYEES
On this the 12th day of August 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the proposal of Lincoln
National Life Insurance Company to provide Group & Life Insurance for Kerr County Employees,
be accepted, effective September 1, 1974 and that the existing policy with Pan American
Life Insurance Company be terminated, effective September 1, 1974.

NO. 12202 APPOINTMENT OF DWIGHT HARKEY AS COUNTY AGENT FOR KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 12th day of August 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that Dwight Harkey be appointed
County Agent in and for Kerr County, Texas, effective September 1, 1974, and that his salary
shall remain the same as the former County Agent's salary, namely $2750.00 per annum, payable
monthly and $840.00 travel expense per annum, payable monthly, out of the General Fund.

NO. 12203 TRANSFER OF $5,000.00 FROM GENERAL FUND
On this the 12th day of August 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded
by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that the Clerk and Treasurer be,
and are hereby directed to transfer the sum of $5,000.00 from the General Fund to the
Officers Salary Fund.

On this the 12th day of August 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and
County Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to apportion the sum of $12,000.00 from the
General Road and Bridge Fund to the respective Commissioners' Precincts.
