NO. 12206 APPROVAL OF QUARTERLY REPORT OF COUNTY FINANCES AND TABULAR STATEMENT OF COUNTY
CLERK OF INDEBTEDNESS, EXPENDITURES AND RECEIPTS OF KERR COUNTY
On this the 13th day of August 1974, came on to be examined by the Court the Quarterly
Report and Tabular Statement of Emmie M. Muenker, County Clerk, covering the indebtedness,
expenditures and receipts of Kerr County for the quarter beginning May 1, 1974 and ending
July 31, 1974, and the same having been compared and examined by the Court and found correct.
Upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm, the Court
unanimously approved said report and ordered said report to be filed for future reference
and subject to audit.

NO. 12207 APPROVAL OF QUARTERLY REPORT OF COUNTY TREASURER
on this the 12th day of August 1974, in Regular Session of Commissioners' Court, came
on for examination the Quarterly Report of Mrs. E. M. McDonald, County Treasurer of said
County, for the period beginning on the 1st day of May 1974 and ending on the 31st day of
July 1974, and the same having been examined and compared by the Court and found correct.
And it appearing to the Court that during the said time the Treasurer has received for
account and credit and paid out of each of said funds as reflected in the report and become
a part thereof; and that said accounts received and paid out of the respective funds, since
the filing of the preceding report and during the period above stated, are found correct
as therein shown.
It is therefore ordered by the Court that the said detailed report be, and the same is
hereby approved, and the Clerk of this Court is hereby ordered to file same in the record
binder provided for the Minutes of County Finances, and that proper credits be made in the
accounts of said Treasurer in accordance with this order.
Motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm and unanimously
approved by the Court.

On this the 19th day of August, 1974, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of acquiring a parcel of land designated by the Texas Highway Department as
Right of Way Parcel No. 1 from Richard Joseph Potter and wife, Sarah Potter, for the re-
construction of State Highway 16, and it appearing to the Court that, as a result of prior
negotiations an agreed consideration for the conveyance of the said Parcel No. 1 has been
arrived at, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm,
and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County offers to pay Richard Joseph Potter
and wife, Sarah Potter, the sum of $30,000.00 as compensation for land and damages for their
conveyance to the State of Texas of a parcel of land, comprising 2.638 acres out of Survey
No. 146, W. C. Francis, with payment being made upon approval for filing and recordation by
the Texas Highway Department of their properly executed right of way deed, together with a
partial release of an outstanding lien by the authorized successors in title of Mae Louise
S, Carruth, Deceased, which approval shall be conditioned on final title approval and payment
of all ad valorem taxes, including current taxes heretofore assessed against the property
conveyed, and it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw
a voucher on the Highway 16 right of way fund in the amount of $30,000.00 payable to Richard
Joseph Potter, Sarah Potter, and such person or fiduciary as may have signed the aforesaid
partial release of lien, which voucher shall be delivered upon final approval for filing
and recordation by the Texas Highway Department of the right of way deed and partial release
of lien as aforesaid.

On this the 20th day of August 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved that Aime Frank Real be granted
use of the Agriculture Exhibition Building on September 9, 1974, for a Lamb Sale, at a charge
of $25.00 per day, plus clean-up.
