On this the 9th day of September 1974, came on to be considered by the Court the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the respective Commissioners Precincts since the
last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Clerk and
Treasurer, in amounts and out of Road & Bridge Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4, General, Officers Salary,
County Law Library and Jury Funds, as shown in the Minutes of Accounts Allowed from page 1726
thru 1730 Voucher Nos. 39447 thru 39605
which were made a part hereof and of this
order.
Motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously
approved by the Court.

NO. 12216 MONTHLY REPORTS OF COUNTY AND PRECINCT OFFICERS OF KERR COUNTY APPROVED
On this the 9th day of September 1974, came on to be examined by the Court the various
reports of August of the County and Precinct Officers of Kerr County, Texas, the same having
been heard and considered by the Court, finds that said reports are true and correct and
should be approved, therefore, upon motion of Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner
Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that the submitted reports be accepted and filed with
the County Clerk for future reference and subject to audit.

On this the 9th day of September 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that upon receipt of
$19945.67 into the Kerr County Lateral Road Fund, the County Clerk and County Treasurer are
hereby directed to make the following transfers:

On this the 9th day of September, 1974, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of classifying lands in Kerr County for tax purposes and establishing the basis
for valuations to be employed by the Tax Assessor of Kerr County, Texas, as well as clerical
procedures to be employed in taking renditions for 1975 ad valorem taxes; and it appearing
to the Court that certain guidelines should be established to furnish the basis for such
valuations as well as clerical procedures to be employed, it is therefore ordered and the
Tax Assessor of Kerr County is hereby instructed to list the full market value of all pro-
perties rendered for 1975 with the ratio of valuations to be employed to be determined sub-
sequently;
And it is further ordered that those properties for which exemption from ad valorem
taxes are claimed pursuant to provisions of Article 7150, Revised Civil Statutes, or other
applicable laws shall be separately listed by the owners thereof, together with the basis for
claiming exemption from taxation, provided that this requirement shall not extend to the
properties owned by the United States of America, the State of Texas or any of its political
subdivisions or to any school district.
On motion by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm, the foregoing
order was unanimously approved, this the 9th day of September, 1974.

N0. 12219 RESIGNATION OF PRISCILLA ELIZABETH BEADLES AS DEPUTY TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR OF
KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 9th day of September 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of Priscilla
Elizabeth Beadles, as Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector of Kerr County, Texas, be ratified and
confirmed, effective as of August 23, 1974.

N0, 12220 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF JUANITA REEVES MAPLES, FOR APPOINTMENT OF SUSAN REDDELL
AS DEPUTY TAX ASSESSOR OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 9th day of September 1974, came on to be considered by the Court the applica-
tion of Juanita Reeves Maples, Tax Assessor-Collector of Kerr County, Texas, for authority
to appoint and deputize Susan Reddell as Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector of Kerr County, Texas
and it appearing to the Court that said application should be approved; therefore, upon
motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimous-
ly approved that said officer be authorized to deputize Susan Reddell as Deputy Tax Assessor-
Collector oŁ Kerr County, Texas, at a salary of $5100.00 per annum, effective the date of her
qualification, the same being September 9, 1974, payable out of Revenue Sharing Trust Fund,
