Sid price to include trade-in of two 1973 Chevrolet 4-Door Sedans and one 1973 Plymouth 4 Door Sedan, less radio and other special police equipment. Specifications are on file at the office of the County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas. Bids to be received until 10:00 o'clock A. Notices to be published October 17 and October 24, 1974. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0, 12239 EXTENSION OF MONTHLY ALLOWANCE OF NANNIE SHERMRN FOI2 A PERIOD OF SIX MONTHS On this the 14th day of October 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved the extension of a monthly allowance of Nannie Sherman in the amount of $40.00, for a period of six months, effective November 1, 1974 o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12240 ORDER GRANTING SHERIFF ALLOWANCE OF $2.50 PER DAY FOR PRISONERS BOARD On this the 14th day of October 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, be allowed $2.50 per day for prisoners board, retroactive to October 1, 1974. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12241 APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE TEXAS HIGHWAY COMMISSION TO DECLARE A CERTAIN UNUSED PORTION OF FARM TO MARKET ROAD 1338 RIGHT OF WAY SURPLUS AND TO CONVEY SAID PROPERTY TO THE ABUTTING LANllOWNERS On this the 14th day of October 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved the following resolution: RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE TEXAS HIGHWAY COMMISSION TO DECLARE A CERTAIN UNUSED PORTION OF E'ARM TO MARKET ROAD 1338 RIGHT OF WAY SURPLUS AND TO CONVEY SAID PROPERTY TO TIIE ABUTTING LANDOWNERS WHEREAS, by deed dated January 23, 1952, recorded in Volume 93, at page 228 of the Deed Records of Kerr County, Texas, a certain 11.48 acre tract of land caas donated to the State of Texas by ELt~1ER STIELER and wife, IRENE STIELER for the construction of Farm to Market Road 1338; WHEREAS, due to the relocation of a portion of said Farm to Market Road 1338 at its intersection with the newly constructed Interstate highway 10 facility, 1.814 acres out of said 11.48 acre tract, said 1.814 acres being more particularly described by metes and bounds in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, was removed from the State highway System by Texas Highway Commission Minute Order No. 66207 dated May 1, 1972; WHEREAS said 1.814 acre tract is no longer needed for the use of citizens as a road; IT IS THEREFORE REQUESTED by the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, at its regular meeting, that the Texas Highway Commission pass an appropriate Minute Order declaring said 1.814 acre tract of land to be surplus right of way and thereby requesting the Governor of the State of Texas to execute a quitclaim by and on behalf of the State of Texas,
