and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
NO. 12256 ORDER CLARIFYING ORDER NO. 12087 CONCERNING PROPOSED METHOD OF FUNDING KERR COUNTY
SHARE OF CONSTRUCTION COSTS OF PROPOSED KEKR COUNTY/CITY JAIL
On this the 22nd day of October, 1974, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of clarifying Order No. 12087 entered by the Court on the 21st day of March, 1974
and recorded in Volume N, Page 489 of the minutes of the Court; and it appearing to the Court
that due to the passage of time which has elapsed since the entry of said Order No. 12087 which
was entered for the purpose of complying cuith the requirements of a then pending grant appli-
cation for a "Phase II" grant for funds for the preparation of actual construction plans for
the proposed Kerr County-City jail facility, and that said grant application remains pending
and is now being finally submitted to the Texas Criminal Justice Council; and it additional-
ly appearing to the Court that there exists an absolute necessity to continue with and carry
forward to final completion the plans for and the construction of the proposed new jail
facility; and it further appearing to the Court that the City of Icerrville and Kerr County
intend to apply for a subsequent grant for "Phase III" to assist in the actual construction
cost of the aforesaid jail facility and that the Texas Criminal Justice Council has requested
further clarification as to the source and amount of Kerr County's funding of its share of
actual construction costs, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commis-
sioner Schwethelm, and unanimously approved by the Court that the aforesaid Order No. 12087
entered on the 21st day of March, 1974 be further clarified by the herein set forth declara-
tion that it remains Kerr County's fullest intention to proceed with the actual construction
of the proposed jail facility following the completion and approval of final construction
~' plans and that it is Kerr County's present intention to use funds to provide Kerr County's
vCl one-half of the required one-third or more local money for actual construction costs from
,~ funds currently on deposit in Kerr County's General and Permanent Improvement Funds, anti-
cipated additional ad valorem tax levies, and such other funds as may become available.

NO. 12257 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF BLOCK ONE - EDiaARllS ADDITION
On this the 22nd day of October 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner. Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sc]wethelm, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Block One - Edwards
Addition.

SEDANS FOR THE KERB COUNTY SHERIFFS DEPARTMHNT
On this the 11th day of November 1974, came on to be considered by the Court the sealed
bids for three 1975 Model four door sedans for the Kerr County Sheriffs Department, as per
specifications on file in the office of the County Clerk.
Upon opening and reading the bids filed with the County Clerk of the Court, it is found
that the bid of Ken Stoepel Ford, Inc., be accepted as the lowest and best bid, as follows:
Bid on three units - S8695.00 - net bid for three units, with trade-in allowance
for three used units - S5255.00.
Motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously
approved by the Court.

NO. 12260 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS
On this the 11th day of November 1974, came on to be considered by the Court the vazious
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the respective Commissioners Precincts since
the last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Clerk
and Tseasurer, in amounts and out of Road and Bridge Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4, General, Officers
Salary, County Law Librazy, Permanent Improvement, Kerr County Public Library and Jury Funds,
as shown in the Minutes of Accounts Allowed from page 1743 thru 1746 , Voucher Nos. 40008
thru 40161 , which were made apart hereof and of this order.
Motion made by Commissioner atone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously
approved by the Court.
