SEDANS FOR THS KERR COUNTY SHBRIFF~S DEPARTMENT
On this the 11th day of November 1974, came on to be considered by the Court the sealed
bids for three 1975 Model four door sedans for the Kerr County Sheriffs Department, as per
specifications on file in the office of the County Clerk.
Upon opening and reading the bids filed with the County Clerk of the Court, it is found
that the bid of Kea Stoepel Ford, Inc., be accepted as the lowest and best bid, as follows:
Bid on three units - $8695.00 - net bid for three unite, with trade-in allowance
for three used units - S5255.00.
Motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously
approved by the Court.

NO. 12260 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS
On this the 11th day of November 1974, came on to be considered by the Court the vazious
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the respective Commissioners Precincts since
the last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Clerk
and Tseaeurer, in amounts and ouL of Road and Bridge Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4, General, Officers
Salary, County Law Library, Permanent Improvement, Kerr County Public Library and Jury Funds,
as shown in the Minutes of Accounts Allowed from page 1743 thru 1746 , Voucher Nos. 40008
thru 40161 which were made a part hereof and of this order.
Motion Wade by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously
approved by the Court.

On this the 11th day of November 19?4, came on to be examined by the Court the various

having been heard and considered by the Court, finds that said reports are true and correct

PETITION FOR DISCONTINUANCE OF COUNTY ROAD
TO THE HONORABLE COMl4ISSIONERS COURT OF KERB COUNTY, TEXAS:
COME NOW, Willard O. Bass and wife, Jane L. Bass, and Willard R. Baca, of the County
of Kerr, State of Texas, and respectfully files this their application and petition,
pursuant to the provisions of Art. 6705 V.T.C.S., signed by at least eight (8) freeholders
in the precinct in which the hereinafter mentioned road is located, to discontinue the
public road more fully hereinafter described, including specifically a description of the
beginning and termiaatioa of such road, after the expiration of at least twenty 120) days
notice by written advertisement of applicants' intended application, posted at the court-
house door of Kerr County, Texas, and at two other public places in the vicinity of the
route of such road, and for such application and petition your applicants would respectfully
show to the Commissioners Court of Kerr County, Texas, that they are the owners of property
located near the hereinafter described public road; that such public road has never been
improved nor maintained by the county, except with the owners' permission, nor has it ever
been opened or used by the public, except with the ownara' permission, and has never been
dedicated to the public by the owner, and that there is no public necessity that such road ever
be or used as a public road, but on the contrary the same should be closed and discontinued.
The public road which your applicants desire to be discontinued and closed is more
fully described as follows, to-wit:
All that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated is the County of Kerr,
State of Texas, and being more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
at the southeast corner of a 9.8674 acre tract of land conveyed to Willard R. Bass
by W. O. Bass, et ux, and recorded in Volume 150, Page 36, Deed Records, Kerr County, Texas,
said southeast corner having geographical coordinates of - Latitude 30° 03' 10" north and
longitude 99° 24' 39" west, and from said southeast corner the northeast corner of original
Survey 1854, Wiley Frasier, AB 1267 bears approximately west 1330 feet and south 280 feet;
THENCE with the meanders of the existing road in a southerly direction through the approxi-
mate center of said Basa Ranch (also known as all that certain tract or parcel of land,
lying and being situated in the County of Kerr, State of Texas, and being more particularly
described by metes and bounds in that certain deed dated February _6, 1959 , from Virgie
Wagner, et vir, to Willard O. Baas, recorded in Volume 104, Page 264, Deed Records of Kerr
County, Texas), as shown on the U. S. Geological Survey Quadrangle "See Caves Creek" 1964
