NO. 12263 ORDER GRANTING KIWANIS CLUB USE OF AGRICULTURE BUILDING GROUNDS APRIL 8, 1975
On this the 11th day of November 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the Kiwanis Club be
granted use of the Agriculture Exhibition Building Grounds April 8, 1975 for a circus, at
no charge, other than clean-up and replacement of fence.

NO. 12264 ORDER AUTHORIZING INVESTMENT OF SURPLUS FUNDS OUT OF GENERAL, JURY AND ROAD &
BRIDGE NO 4 FUNDS
On this the 11th day of November 1974, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of investing certain funds currently on deposit in the following funds and in
the amounts listed:
General Fuad
Jury Fund
Road & Bridge No. 4 Fund

------ 10,000.00
and that these funds should be invested as soon as current Certificates of Deposits mature
and the proceeds thereof are deposited to the credit of Kerr County, pending possible need
of these funds for expenditure, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, and unanimously approved by the Court that the sum of S100,000.00
out of General Fund, $10,000.00 out of Jury Pund and $10,000.00 out of Road & Bridge No. 4
Fund, be invested in Inteseat Bearing Certificates of Deposits with the Chas. Schreiner Bank,
which investments shall be made as soon as practicable and that such Certificates of Deposits
shall be for a period of 90 days from date of investment.
And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw proper
vouchers on the funds aforementioned and in the amounts above net forth to effect the afore-
said investments with the Chas. Schreiner Bank.

NO. 12265 ORDER APPROVING PAYMENT OF ELECTION OFFICERS AND RENT, ETC. FOR USE OF BUILDINGS
IN HOLDING GENERAL ELECTION, NOVEMBER 5, 1974
On this the 11th day of November 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved the payment of claims of Electlon
Officials as per claims on file at 52.00 per hour and the Presiding Judges S5.00 for bring-
ing in returns of Election, including the Absentee Box and payment to various places for
the use of buildings, heat, lights, etc., in holding the General Election on November 5,
1974.
