NO. 12263 ORDER GRANTING KIWANIS CLUB USE OF AGRICULTURE BUILDING GROUNDS APRIL S, 1975
On this the 11th day of November 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the Kiwania Club be
granted use of the Agriculture Exhibition Building Grounds April 8, 1975 for a circus, at
no charge, other than clean-up and replacemment of fence.

NO. 12264 ORDER AUTHORIZING INVSSTMSNT OF SURPLUS FUNDS OUT OF GENERAL, JURY AND ROAD &
BRIDGE NO 4 FUND5
On this the 11th day of November 1974, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of investing certain funds currently on deposit in the following funds and in
the amounts listed:
General Fund ------ $100,000.00
Jury Fund ------ 10,000.00
Road & Bridge No. 4 Fund ------ 10,000.00
and that these funds should be invested as soon as current Certificates of Deposits mature
and the proceeds thereof aze deposited to the credit of Kerr County, pending possible need
of these funds for expenditure, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Hartel, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, and unanimously approved by Lhe Court that the sum of $100,000.00
out of General Fund, $10,000.00 out of Jury Pond and $10,000.00 out of Road & Bridge No. 4
Fund, be invested in Interest Bearing Certificates of Deposits with the Chas. Schreiner Hank,
which investments shall be made as soon as practicable and that such Certificates of Deposits
shall be for a period of 90 days from date of investment.
And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw proper
vouchers on the funds aforementioned and in the amounts above set forth to effect the afore-
said investments with the Chas. Schreiner Bank.

IN HOLDING GENERAL ELECTION, NOVEMBER 5, 1974
On this the 11th day of November 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved the payment of claims of Election
Officials as per claims on file at $2.00 per hour and the Presiding Judges $5.00 for bring-
ing in returns of Election, including the Absentee Box and payment to various places for
the use of buildings, heat, lights, etc., in holding the General Election on November 5,
1974.

NO. 12269 GENERAL ELECTION RETURNS CANVASSED AND TABULATED
On this the 11th day of November 1974, came on to be considered by the Court the returns
to be canvassed, to determine the results of the General Election held on November 5, 1974.
And the Court having canvassed and tabulated the returns of the Nineteen Election
Precincts and the Absentee Canvassing Board Box, are of the opinion that said returns, after
having been opened and canvassed, are true and correct and should be approved.
Therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm,
and unanimously approved by the Court, that the returns as canvassed and tabulated in Volume
6, Pages 30 thru 36, Record of Election Returns of Kerr County, Texan, and as certified there-
to by each member of the Court, are in all respects approved.

Report and Tabular Statement of Emmie M. Muenker, County Clerk, covering the indebtedness,
expenditures and receipts of Kerr County for the quarter beginning August 1, 1974 and ending
October 31, 1974, and the same having been compared and examined by the Court and found
correct.
Upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm, the Court
unanimously approved said report and ordered said report to be filed for future reference
and subject to audit.
