~~~ NO. 12287 ORDER AUTHORIZING MONTHLY PAYMENTS TO W. A. PLUMMER, SR., FOR RENDITION OP -- AMBULANCE SERVICE AS PER CONTRACT On this the 30th day of December, 1974 came on to be heazd and considered by the Court the matter of authorizing monthly payments to W. A. Plummer, Sr. for the rendition of ambulance service pursuant to his bid as previously accepted by the City of Kerrville and Kerr County; and it appearing to the Court that the City and the County have heretofore entered into a written contract with the said W. A. Plummer, Sr. for the rendition of ambulance service for a period commencing January 1, 1975 and ending December 31, 1977 unless previously terminated or modified, which contract provides that the City and the County shall each pay the said contractor the sum of S1,583.33 per month for the rendition of ambu- lance service, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm and unanimously approved by the Court that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authoriz- ed to draw a voucher on the General Fund of Kerr County in the amount of S1,583.33 after the conclusion of each calendar month for the contract period or until the provisions of ^ said contract way have been modified or terminated by the parties thereto, the said voucher to be drawn and delivered by the 10th day of each month following which service has been rendered, commencing with the conclusion of the month of Januazy, 1975, the said voucher to be made payable to W. A. Plummer, Sr. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12288 ORDER AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING PAYMENT OF UNCLAIMED CASH BOND REFUND TO THE COUNTY TREASURER OF KERR COUNTY On this the 30th day of December, 1974, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of making disposition of an unclaimed refund of a cash bond originally posted with Raymond Orr, former Justice of the Peace of Precinct No. 1 of Kerr County fn the yeaz 1967; and it appearing to the Court that one Alfred Enoch Babbitt originally posted a cash bond in the sum of $750.00 with the former Justice of the Peace Raymond Orr in Cause No. 1867 on the Examining Trial Docket of the Justice of the Peace of Precinct No. 1 of Kerr County, and that thereafter the said Alfred Enoch Babbitt was indicted for the felong offense of driving while intoxicated as per Cause No. 2442 on the Criminal Docket of the Second ,-.. Thirty-Eighth District Court of Kerr County, but that accused was never brought to trial and that the aforesaid indictment was dismissed in May, 1972 by the Judge of the said Court, thus discharging the accused from further liability to appeaz and answer in the pending cause, therefore entitling the said Alfred Enoch Babbitt to claim a refund of the said original cash bond in the amount of S750.00 and that the said cash bond has remained unclaimed and on deposit in a special bank account established by Robert I. Wilson, Justice of the Peace of Precinct No. 1 of Rerr County, successor in office to Raymond Orr, Deceased, which bank account was established for the purpose of preserving and accounting for official funds in the account of Raymond Orr at the time of his death; and it further appearing to the Court that all efforts to find and locate the aforesaid Alfred 8noch Babbitt at all known addresses have been unsuccessful, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commis- sioner Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court that Robert I. Wilson, Justice of the Peace of Precinct No. 1 be authorized and directed to pay over to the County Treasurer of Kerr County the aforesaid unclaimed funds in the amount of $750.00 for deposit in the General Fund of Rerr County so that the aforesaid special account for the official funds of Raymond Orr, deceased, might be finally closed out; and it is further ordered that Kerr County shall remain liable for the refund of the said sum of S750.00 to the said Alfred Enoch Babbitt or
