PETITION FOR DISCONTINUANCE OF COUNTY ROAD
TO THE HONORABLE COMMISSIONERS COURT OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS:
COME NOW, Willard O. Bass and wife, Jane L. Bass, and
Willard R. Bass, of the County of Kerr, State of Texas, and
respectfully files this their application and petition, pursuant
to the provisions of Art. 6705 V.T.C.S., signed by at least
eight (8) freeholders in the precinct in which the hereinafter
mentioned road is located, to discontinue the public road more
fully hereinafter described, including specifically a description
of the beginning and termination of such road, after the expiration
of at least twenty (20) days notice by written advertisement
of applicants' intended application, posted at the courthouse
door of Kerr County, Texas, and at two other public places in
the. vicinity of the route of such road, and for such application
and petition your applicants would respectfully show to the
Commissioners Court of Kerr County, Texas, that they are the
owners of property located near the hereinafter described public
road; that such public road has never been improved nor maintained
by the county, except with the owners' permission, nor has it
ever been opened or used by the public, except with the owners'
permission, and has never been dedicated to the public by the owner,
and that there is no public necessity that such road ever be
or used as a public road, but on the contrary the same should
be closed and discontinued.
The public road which your applicants desire to be discontinued
and closed is more fully described as follows, to-wit:

All that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being
situated in the County of Kerr, State of Texas, and being
more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
BEGYNNLNG at the southeast corner of a 9.8674 acre tract
of land conveyed to Willard R. Bass by W. O. Bass, et
ux, and recorded in Volume 150, Page 36, Deed Records,
Kerr County, Texas, said southeast corner. havino, geographical
coordinates of - Latitude 30° 03' 10°' north and longitude
99° 24' 39° west, and from said southeast corner the northeast
corner of original Survey 1854, Wiley Frasier, AB 1267
bears approximately west 1330 feet and south 280 feet;
THENCE with. the meanders of the existing road in a southerly
direction through the approximate center of said Bass
Ranch. (also known as all that certain tract or parcel
of land, lying and being situated in the County of Kerr,
State of Texas, and being more particularly described
by metes and bounds in that certain deed dated February
6, 1959, from Virgie Wagner, et vir, to Willard O. Bass,
recorded in Volume 104, Page 264, Deed Records of Kerr
County, Texas), as shown on the U. S. Geological Survey
Quadrangle "Bee Caves Creek" 1964 1:24000° (1'° = 2000'),
through original Surveys 1896, 1566 and 1726 to the termination
point of said road at the south property line and fence
line of the said Bass Ranch ( also known as all that certain
tract or parcel of land, lying and being situated in the
County of Kerr, State of Texas, and being more particularly
described by metes and bounds in that certain deed dated
February 6, 1959, from Virgie Wagner, et vir, to Willard
O. Bass, recorded in Volume 104, Page 264, Deed Records
of Kerr County, Texas) at geographical coordinates. of
Latitude 30° Ol' 21" north. and longitude 99° 24' 30°° west
at a point 152.0 feet west of the southeast corner of
the said Bass Ranch (also known as all that certain tract
or parcel of land lying and being situated in the County
of Kerr, State of Texas, and being more particularly described
by metes and bounds in that certain deed dated February
6, 1959, from Virgie Wagner, et vir, to Willard O. Bass,
recorded in Volume 104, Page. 264, Deed Records of Kerr
County, Texas), and from said southeast corner, the southeast
corner of original Survey 1726, G.C.& S.F.R.R. AB 1743,
bears east 766.7 feet.

B. Floyd, Registered Public Surveyor No. 1408, August
26-29, 1974.

Since Willard O. Bass and wife, Jane L. Bass, and Willard
R. Bass are the owners of the property on both sides of the
above described land, your applicants pray that the Commissioners
Court also order that Kerr County, Texas, execute and deliver
to Willard O. Bass and wife, Jane L. Bass, and Willard R. Bass, a
Quitclaim Deed to the above described property.

We, the undersigned to the above and foregoing Petition
for discontinuance of County Road above described, do
hereby represent to the Commissioners Court of Kerr County,
Texas, that we and each one of us are freeholders in the
precinct in which the above de~cxibed road is desired
to be discontinued, and .further, we and each one of the
undersigned apply to the Commissioners Court of Kerr County,
Texas, and request that the above and foregoing application
and petition be granted and that such road be discontinued
