ORDER NO. 12087 ORDER CONCERNING PROPOSED METHOD OF FUNDING KERR COUNTY SHARE OF CONSTRUCTION COSTS OF PROPOSED KERR COUNTY/CITY JAIL On this the 21st day of March, 1974, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of setting forth the proposed manner of funding Kerr County's share of the construction costs of the proposed Kerr County/City jail; and it appearing to the Court that Kerr County and the City of Kerrville have heretofore obligated themselves to contribute a sum of $8,001.00 to provide the required cash match for a project entitled "Planning Improvements for Kerr County/City Jail", of which Kerr County is obligated for one half of the total amount, namely $4, 000.50, and it further appearing to the Court that it is the desire and present intent of Kerr County and the City of Kerrville to apply to the Criminal Justice Council for a grant to provide funds to supplement those of the County and the City in meeting the construction costs of the new jail appearing facility; and it further/to the Court that the Texas Criminal Justice Council has requested the advice as to the source and amount of Kerr County's contribution to such funding, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court that it is Kerr County's present intention to use funds to provide Kerr County's one half of the required local matching contribution from funds currently on deposit in Kerr County's General and Permanent Improvement Funds and, if necessary, such other funds as may become available from anticipated additional ad valorem tax levies for these funds. <- `ter- /~ ~v%j' ORDER CONCERNING PROPOSED METHOD OF FUNDING KERR COUNTY SHARE OF CONSTRUCTION COSTS OF PROPOSED KERR COUNTY/CITY JAIL 3-21-74 1~.- ~1~)'y~
