OFFER TO JOHN F. JOBES AND WIFE CHRISTINA. F. JOB ES FOR RIGHT
OF WAY FOR STATE HIGHWAY 16
On this the 16th day of April, 1974, came on to be heard and
considered by the Court the matter of acquiring a parcel of land designated
by the Texas Highway Department as right of way Parcel No. 26D from John
F. Jobes and wife, Christina F. Jobes for the reconstruction of State Highway
16, and it appearing to the Court that the landowners concerned have agreed
to accept Kerr County's prior letter offer for the land concerned, it is
ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone and seconded by Commissioner
' 5chwethelm and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County offer
' to pay John F. Jobes and wife, Christina F. Jobes, the sum of $9, 765. 00
as compensation for'land and damages for their conveyance to the State of
Texas of a parcel of land comprising 2.958 acres of land out of Survey
1907 and Survey 1133 with payment being made upon approval for filing and
;, recordation by the Texas Highway Department of the owners properly executed
right of way deed; and it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be
authorized to draw a voucher on the Highway 16 right of way fund in the amount
of $9,765.00 payable to John F. Jobes, which voucher shall be delivered
upon final approval for filing and recordation by the Texas Highway
Department of the right of way deed concerned.
