ORDER N0. 12463 AN ORDER by the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, calling a bond election to be held within said County, providing for the conduct of the election and making other provisions incident and related to the purpose of this ordero WHEREAS, the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, has determined that a special election should be called to ascer- tain whether said governing body shall be authorized to issue bonds of said County in the amounts and for the purposes herein- after mentioned; now, therefore, BE IT ORDERED BY THE COMMISSIONERS' COURT OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS: SECTION I: That an election be held in said County on the 6th~ay o~ August, 1975, which date is not less than fifteen (I5) days nor more than thirty (30) days from the date of the adoption hereof, at which election the following propositions shall be submitted: PROPOSITION NUMBER ONE "SHALL the Commissioner's Court of Kerr County, Texas, be authorized to issue the bonds of said County in the amount of EIGHT HUNDRED SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($860,000), to mature serially at such time as may be deemed most expedient by the Commissioners' Court, but not later than FORTY (40) years from the date thereof, to be issued and sold at any price or prices and to bear interest at any rate or rates as shall be deter- mined within the discretion of the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, at the time of issuance, for the construction of improvements and an addition to the existing County Courthouse and Jail Building (expand and improve Courthouse facilities); and shall the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, be authorized to levy, assess and collect annually, while said bonds or any of them are outstanding, a tax upon all taxable property in said County, sufficient to pay the interest on said bonds and to provide a sinking fund for their final redemption at maturity, pursuant to authority conferred by the Constitution and laws of the State of Texas?"
