day of August 1975 at 10:00 o'clock A. M., in the City of Kerrville, Texas, a regular term
of the Commissioners' Court, with the following officers present:

NO. 12465 APPROVAL OF CLAIh15 AS3D ACCOUNTS
On this the 11th day of August 1975, came on to be examined by the Court the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the respective Commissioners' Precincts since
the last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Clerk
and Treasurer, in amounts and out of Road & Bridge Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4, Lateral Road 4, Jury,
General, Officers Salary, General Road and Bridge, County Law Library and Revenue Sharing
Trust Funds, as shown in the Minutes of Accounts Allowed from page 1819 thru 1824 ,
Voucher Nos. 42587 thru 42824 , which were made a part hereof and of this order.
Motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously
approved by the Court.

NO. 12466 MONTHLY REPORTS OF COUNTY AND PRECINCT OFFICIALS OF KERR COUNTY APPROVED
On this the 11th day of August 1975, came on to be examined by the Court the various
reports of July of the County and Precinct Officials of Kerr County, Texas, the same having
been heard and considered by the Court, finds that said reports are true and correct and
should be approved, therefore upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner
Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that the submitted reports be accented and filed with
the County Clerk for future reference and subject to audit:

NO. 12467 ORDERt1UTI3ORI'LING APPLICATION FOR KERB COUNTY LATERAL ROAD SURPLUS FUNDS IN
ACCOUNT [~iITH BOARD OF COUNTY & DISTRICT ROAD INDEBTEDNESS
On this the 11th day of August 1975, it coming to the attention of the Court that there
will be surplus funds in the amount of $19,945.67 credited to the lateral road account of
Y.err County by the Board of County and District Road Indebtedness of the State of Texas and
it appearing to the Court that said funds should 7roperly be expended for the purpose of
construction and improvement of lateral roads within I°:err County, it is ordered on motion
by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm, and unanimously approved by the
Court that Kerr County request the Board of County and District Road Indebtedness to forward
the said funds to the Treasurer of Kerr County upon their becoming available; and it is
further ordered that all such funds are Mere and now earmarked, set aside and designated to
be used by Kerr County for the purpose of construction and improvement of Kerr County Lateral
Roads., and the Treasurer of Kerr County be directed to deposit. such funds upon-_the.ir__xece3.pt -

~i~matter of investin; certain funds currently on deposit in the following funds and in the

Permanent Improvement Fund 5,000.00
F. M. & Lateral Road Fund 40,000.00
Flood Control Maintenance Fund 10,000.00

!and that these funds should be invested as soon as current Certificates of Deposits mature and
jthe proceeds thereof are deposited to the credit o£ Kerr County, pending possible need of ' ^
,these funds for expenditure, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by ;
!,Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court that the sum of $10,000.00 out of Jury
Fund, $100,000.00 out of General Fund, $10,000.00 out of Road & Bridge #4 Fund, $5,000.00 out
of Permanent Improvement Fund, $40,000.00 out of F. M. & Lateral Road Fund, $10,000.00 out of
Flood Control Maintenance Fund and $5,000.00 out of Social Security Fund, be invested in
~~Interest Searing Certificates of Deposits with the Chas. Schreiner Bank, which investments
I!shall be made as soon as practicable and that such Certificates of Deposits shall be for a
I, period of 90 days from date of investment.
And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw proper
'vouchers on the funds aforementioned and in the amounts above set forth to effect the aforesaid
'investments with the Chas. Schreiner Bank.

~NO. 12469 ACCEPTANCE OF 1974 AUDIT AND PAYMENT OF SAME
On this the 11th day of August 1975, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that the Audit of the Kerr County
Records for 1974, as made by Pressler, Thompson and Company be accepted and that their claim
in the amount of $7500.00 for their services be paid and that the Clerk and Treasurer be
'authorized to draw a voucher on the General Fund for payment of same.

IN O. 12470 BUDGET HEARING SET FOR SEPTEMBER 4th, 1975 at 9:00 o'clock A. N1.
On this the 11th day of August 1975, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded
Iby Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that a public hearing on the 1976 Budget
Ifor Kerr County, Texas, be set at 9:00 o'clock A. NI., September 4th, 1975 and that the County
(Clerk be hereby directed to issue notice by publication, with notice thereof to be published
din the official newspaper of Kerr County one time, that the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County,
',will submit for consideration of the public, a Budget for the Control of the County Financial
'Affairs during the fiscal year, January 1st, 197Fi to December 31, 1976, the same to be at a
'public hearinn to be held September 4th, 1975 at 9:00 o'clock A. M., in the Kerr County Commis-
I'sioners' Court Room of the Courthouse in Kerrville, Texas.
