.._ day of December 1975 at 10:00 o'clock A. M., in the City of Kerrville, Texas, a regular term
of the Commissioners' Court, with the following officers present:

NO. 12538 REJECTION OF BIDS FOR TWO 1976 FOUR DOOR SEDANS FOR USE BY KERR COUNTY SHERIFF'S
DEPARTMENT
On this the 8th day of December 1975, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that any and all bids Łor two 1976
four door sedans for use by the Kerr County Sheriff's Department be rejected at this time.

NO. 12539 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS
On this the 8th day of December 1975, came on to be examined by the Court the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the respective Commissioners' Precincts since
the last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Clerk and
Treasurer, in amounts and out of Road & Bridge Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4, General, Officers Salary,
County Law Library, Jury, Kerr County Public Library and General Road and Bridge Funds, as
shown in the Minutes of Accounts Allowed from page 1855 thru 1858 Voucher Nos. 43817 thru
43973 which were made a part hereof and of this order.
Motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously
approved by the Court.

NO. 12540 MONTHLY REPORTS OF COUNTY & PRECINCT OFFICIALS
On this the 8th day of December 1975, came on to be examined by the Court the various
reports of November of the County and Precinct Officials of Kerr County, Texas, the same
having been heard and considered by the Court, finds that said reports are true and correct
and should be approved, therefore upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commis-
sioner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved that the submitted reports be	accepted and

MOTION was made by Commissioner Bartel and seconded by Commissioner Sallee that the Kerr
County Commissioners' Court accept the provisions contained in Minute Order No. 70752 passed

'! by the State Highway and Public Transportation Commission on November 25, 1975, for the
improvement by the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation of the roads describ-
ed below and that Kerr County agrees to furnish all required right of way free of cost to the
State: From end of Farm to Market Road 1341, 10.4 miles East of State Highway 16 at Kerrville,
Southeast to Interstate Highway 10 at Cypress Creek Road, a distance of approximately 3.7
' miles.

' NO. 12542 ORDER ESTABLISHING RE4UIREMENT FOR DELINEATING 100 YEAR FLOOD LEVEL ON CERTAIN
PLATS SUBMITTED TO THE COMMISSIONERS' COURT FOR APPROVAL PRIOR TO FILING FOR
RECORD
On this the 8th day of December, 1975 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of requiring the delineation of the 100 year flood level on certain plats hereafter
submitted to the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County for approval for filing in the Plat
Records of Kerr County; and it appearing to the Court that proposed flood insurance require-
' ments and private sewage disposal permits within the 100 year Flood plain have created a public
necessity to have the 100 year flood level, where applicable, depicted on subdivision and other
land plats submitted for filing in the Kerr County Plat Records in those instances where the
platted lands abut the Guadalupe River and its major tributaries as well as other streams
capable of generating a material flooding of land surface areas, it is ordered on motion by
Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court ~~~"""
! that hereafter all proposed plats of subdivisions and other lands which are submitted to the
Commissioners' Court of Kerr County for approval for filing in the Kerr County Plat Records
shall comply with the provisions of this order which are as follows:
' 1. The contour line of the 100 year frequency flood level shall, if the provisions of
this order apply, be depicted on the proposed plat from the best available evidence pending
its official determination, if any, by an agency of the United States or the Upper Guadalupe
River Authority, and in the event of a prior determination by one of the aforesaid agencies,
such determination shall prevail. Pending formal determination, the July, 1932 flood level
'. shall be deemed to control as to lands abutting or lying adjacent to the Guadalupe River, the
North and South Forks of the Guadalupe, and Johnson Creek.
2. The provisions of this order shall apply to platted subdivisions or lands abutting
or lying adjacent to the Guadalupe River, the North and South Forks of the Guadalupe River,
Johnson Creek, major tributary streams of the Guadalupe, Medina, Pedernales and Llano Rivers,
and any other stream, watercourse or flood prone area which the Commissioners' Court deems to
' be subject to possible major flooding or which may have been designated as flood prone areas
