and the following proceedings were had:
A public hearing was held at 10:00 o'clock A. M., December 30, 1975, as ordered by the
Commissioners' Court December 8th, 1975, for the purpose of considering proposed salary
increases for elective officials. No one appeared in Court and the public hearing closed at
10:05 o'clock A. M.

NO. 12556 APPROVAL OF PROPOSED SALARY INCREASES OF ELECTIVE OFFICIALS OF KERB COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 30th day of December 1975, came on to be held by the Court, a public hearing
pursuant to prior notice as required by law and as ordered by the Court on the 8th day of
December 1975, for the purpose of considering proposed salary increases for certain elected
County and Precinct Officials of Kerr County, Texas. Upon the conclusion of such hearing,
it is ordered upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, that
the following proposed salary increases be approved, effective January 1, 1976, subject to
final implementation at the Regular January 1976 Term of Court:

NO. 12557 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS
On this the 30th day of December 1975, came on to be considered by the Court the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the respective Commissioners' Precincts since
the last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Clerk and
Treasurer, in amounts and out oŁ General, Officers Salary, County Law Library and Revenue
Sharing Trust Funds, as shown in the Minutes oŁ Accounts Allowed from page 1861 thru 1862
Voucher Nos. 44066 thru 44096 which were made a part hereof and of this order.
Motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Stone and unanimously
approved by the Court.

NO. 12558 ORDER CONFIRMING RESIGNATION OF DISTRICT CLERK, F. A. KARGER, AND APPOINTMENT
OF MRS. MARY BROOKS TO FILL VACANCY
On this the 30th day of December, 1975, it having been brought to the attention of the
Court that the Hon. A. P. Allison, Judge of the 198th District Court of Kerr County, and the

Hon. Marvin B1$Ckburn, Jr., Judge of the 216th District Court of Kerr County, have, by order

i dated December 16, 1975, and duly entered in the minutes of the District Courts, accepted ~

the resignation of F. A. Karger as District Clerk of Kerr County effective December 31, 1975
and have, by the same order appointed Mrs. Mary Brooks as District Clerk of Kerr County to fill
the resulting vacancy in said office effective January 1, 1976, to serve until the next
succeeding general election, and that a copy of the order of said District Judges has been
filed herewith among the papers of this Court, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone,
seconded by Commissioner Sallee, and unanimously approved by the Court that the foregoing
matters be confirmed as a matter of record by the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County and for
all other necessary purposes.

NO. 12559 APPROVAL OF OFFICIAL BOND OF MARY BROOKS, DISTRICT CLERK DESIGNATE
On this the 30th day of December 1975, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded
by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved the official bond of Mary Brooks,
District Clerk Designate.

NO. 12560 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF MARY BROOKS, DISTRICT CLERK DESIGNATE, FOR APPOINTMENT
OF BETTY JANINE MAHAN AS DEPUTY DISTRICT CLERK DESIGNATE
On this the 30th day of December 1975, came on to be considered by the Court the applica-
tion of Mary Brooks, District Clerk Designate, for authority to appoint and deputize Betty
Janine Mahan as Deputy District Clerk Designate, and it appearing to the Court that said
application be approved, therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by
Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to
deputize Betty Janine Mahan as Deputy District Clerk, effective the date of her qualification.

NO. 12561 APPROVAL OF BOND OF BETTY JANINE MAHAN AS DEPUTY DISTRICT CLERK DESIGNATE
On this the 30th day of December 1975, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded
by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved the bond of Betty Janine Mahan as
Deputy District Clerk Designate.

On this the 30th day of December 1975, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded
