NO. 12303 APPROVAL OF COUNTY CLERK'S SEMI-ANNUAL REPORT ON TRUST FUND AND FINES
On this the 13th day of January 1975, came on to be considered by the Court the semi-
annual report of all receipts and disbursements of the County Clerk Trust Fund in the Chas.
Schreiner Bank, Kerrville, Texas, of collections and deposits and disbursements by her in
her hands for the period from July 1, 1974 and ending December 31, 1974 and held on deposit
in the County Clerk's Trust Fund in the amount of $9,030.30.
It appearing to the Court that said report is in due form and should be approved.
Motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved
by the Court.

NO. 12304 ORDER SETTING COUNTY AND PRECINCT OFFICIALS ON SALARY BASIS
On this the 13th day of January 1975, at a Regular Term of the Commissioners' Court,
with a quorum being present, there came on for consideration the matter of compensation
of vazious County and Precinct Officials of Kerr County, Texas, for the year 1975, as pro-
vided for in Article 3912e, Section 2, R.C.S. of Texas and Article 3912e, Section 6, R. C.
S. of Texas. And it appearing to the Court that Kerr County has a population of less than
20,000 inhabitants, according to the last Federal Census and that the interests of the County
would be best served if the County Officials and Precinct Officials of Kerr County be paid
on a salazy basis as provided by law, for the year 1975.
Upon motion duly made by Commissioner Stone , seconded by Commissioner Bartel, and
unanimously approved by the Court, it is ordered that the County Officials and Precinct
Officials of Kerr County be paid on a salary basis as provided by law, for the year 1975.
It is further ordered by the Court that the Clerk of the Court prepare a certified copy
of this order and send same to the Comptroller of Public Accounts in Austin, Texas.

NO. 12305 TRANSFER OF $28,205.00 TO SOCIAL SECURITY FUND
On this the 13th day of January 1975, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and County
Treasurer be, and aze hereby directed to transfer the following amounts to the Social Security
Fund from their respective funds:
Jury Fund $ 505.00
Road & Bridge Fund 8450.00
General Func 1850.00
Officers Salary Fund 17400.00
Total $28205.00

NO. 12306 ORDER SETTING PAY OF GRAND JURORS, PETIT JURORS AND SPECIAL VENIREMEN IN DISTRICT
COURT AND OF JURORS IN COUNTY COURT
On this the 13th day of January 1975, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of fixing the compensation of Grand Jurors, Petit Jurors and Special Venire-
men in the District Court of Kerr County and of Jurors in the County Court of Kerr County,

of the Code of Criminal Procedure and Article 35.24 of the Code ______ of Criminal Pro-
cedure and after due consideration, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court, that the compensation
to be paid during the year 1975 and until further orders of the Court to all Grand Jurors
and Petit Jurors and Special Veniremen shall be fixed at $5.00 per day, including those
summoned but excused, provided however, that those County and District Court Jurors and
Grand Jurors actually impaneled and sworn, shall be paid $7.50 per day, with such compensa-
tion to be paid out of the Jury Fund of Kerr County.

On this the 13th day of January 1975, came on to be considered by the Court the matter
of employing the firm of Pressler, Thompson and Company Lo make audit of the books of the
County and Precinct Officials of Kerr County, for the calendar year 1974.
It is ordered on motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner

NO. 12309 ORDER REQUESTING CHAS. SCHREINER BANK, TRUSTEE OF THE CHARLES SCHREINER ROAD
FUND, TO MAKE EXPENDITURE OF ACCRUED EARNINGS FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING
RIGHT OF WAY FOR STATE HIGHWAY 16 IN KERB COUNTY
On this the 13th day of January, 1975, came on to be heard and considered by the Court,
acting in its capacity as Advisory Trustees of the Charles Schreiner Road Fund, pursuant
to judgment entered in Cause No. 6127 on the docket of the Second Thirty-eighth District
Court of Kerr County, Texas, the matter of advising the Chas. Schreiner Bank of Kerrville,
Texas, Trustee of the Charles Schreiner Road Fund, as to the purposes for which earnings
of said Trust Fund which have accrued during the year 1974 might be expended in furtherance
of the purposes for which said trust is created;
And it appearing to the Court that accrued earnings from said Trust Fund for years
prior to 1974 have been heretofore paid over to Kerr County pursuant to the provisions of
said trust for the purpose of aiding in financing the cost of right of way procurement for
the reconstruction of a portion of State Highway 16 south of Kerrville as is more particular-
ly set forth in Order No. 11,394 of the Court as entered on August 9, 1971.
