AS TO 0.515 ACRES OF ABANDONED RIGHT OF WAY OF STATE HIGHWAY 39 On this the 13th day of January, 1975, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of authorizing the County Judge of Kerr County to execute a Quitclaim Deed from r_~,x ~ Kerr County to Camp Mystice, Inc., a Texas Corporation, as to 0.515 acres of abandoned right of way of State Highway 39 at Camp Mystic; and it appearing to the Court that Kerr County did agree to accept the donation of certain right of way for the reconstruction of State Highway 39 in the year 1964 and that Camp Mystic, Inc. did donate certain necessary right of way which Kerr County did accept pursuant to the provisions of Order No. 9680 entered February 28, 1964 and recorded in Vol. M, Page 139 of the minutes of the Court and that, as a portion of the consideration for the donation of the right of way aforesaid, Kerr County did agree to quitclaim certain right of way of State Highway 39 to be abandoned by the Texas Highway Department to Camp Mystic, Inc.; and it further appearing to the Court that the Texas Highway Department did subsequently abandon certain portions of old right of way abutting the Camp Mystic, Inc. property and, that at the request of Kerr County the State of Texas did quitclaim to Kerr County two parcels of right of way aggregating 0.515 acres pursuant to a ~/ quitclaim deed recorded in Vol. 124, page 292, Kerr County Deed Records, and that in fulfill- meat of Kerr County's commitments in Order No. 9680 of the Court, Kerr County should quitclaim the 0.515 acres abandoned right of way to Camp Mystic, Inc., it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, and unanimously approved by the Court that the County Judge of Kerr County be authorized to execute Kerr County's quitclaim deed to Camp Mystic, Inc,, a Texas Corporation, as to 0.515 acres of the aforesaid abandoned right of way, which 0.515 acres comprise 0.248 acres out of Survey 1497, W, R. Anderson, and 0.267 acres out of Survey 1357, J. F. Edmonds, as quitclaimed to Kerr County by the State of Texas. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12314 ORDER APPROVING ROAD NAMES AND RESIDENCE NUMBERING SYSTEM FOR RURAL ROUTE MAZL DELIVERY AREAS SERVED BY THE KERRVILLE, TEXAS POST OFFICE On this the 13th day of January, 1975, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of establishing a uniform system of road names and residential numbering system for the areas south and west of Kerrville which are served by rural route mail delivery from the Kerrville, Texas Post :Office; and it appearing to the Court the tremendous increase in the number of rural route mail patrons together with unplanned designations of road names have rendered the assignment of mail addresses by rural route box numbers confusing and impractical; and it further appearing to the Court that efforts to locate residences of Kerr County Citizens in time of emergency and otherwise have frequently become difficult and frustrating due to the lack of a uniform system of names and numbering of roadways and resi- dential areas, and that this situation, in addition to impeding the efficiency of the postal service, also endangers human life and property in times of emergency, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm, and unanimously approved by the Court that the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County does hereby approve and adopt the ~i proposed system of road names and numbering assignment for places of habitation and business in the areas served by Kerrville Rural Route No. One South and West of Kerrville, the same having been compiled under the designation of "Project Identity" and filed as Exhibit "A" of this order with the Clerk of the Court; and it is further ordered that the United States Postal Service is granted approval and authority by the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County to proceed with the submitted proposal as aforesaid.
