WHEREAS, the Sheriff of Kerr County is in need of three portable radios and three
chargers,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County of Kerr hereby authorizes the Alamo
Area Council of Governments to make said application to the Texas Criminal Justice Council
on its behalf to acquire the needed equipment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Kerr County agrees to pay 25 percent of the cost of these
three portable radios and associated chargers, not to exceed $545.25, the remaining cost to
be funded by said grant.
On motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, and unanimously
approved by the Court, the foregoing resolution was adopted by the Commissioners' Court of
Kerr County this the 10th day of February, 1975.

NO. 12334 ORDER CONSOLIDATING KERR COUNTY ELECTION PRECINCTS FOR SPECIAL CONSTITUTIONAL
AMENDMENT ELECTION TO BE HELD ON APRIL 22, 1975
On this the 10th day of February, 1975 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of consolidating the Election Precincts of Kerr County for the purpose of con-
ducting a Special Constitutional Amendment Election ordered by the Legislature of the State
of Texas to be held on April 22, 1975 and it appearing to the Court that Section 2.02 (g)
of the Texas Election Code authorizes the combination of any two or more Kerr County Election
Precincts into consolidation Precincts for the purpose of conducting the aforesaid Special
Election and it further appearing to the Court that the costs of conducting this election
would be materially reduced by such consolidations, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner
Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm and unanimously approved by the Court that for the
purpose of conducting the Special Constitutional Amendment Election called for April 22,
1975 the following consolidations of Kerr County's 19 Regular Election Precincts shall be
as follows:
1. Election Precincts 1, 7 and 13 are consolidated into a single Precinct with the Kerr
County Courthouse being designated as the polling place.
2. Election Precincts 16, 18 and 19 are consolidated into a single Precinct with the Black-
~-14 well Fire Station being designated as the polling place.
3. Election Precincts 12, 14 and 17 are consolidated into a single Precinct with the Club-
house of Kerrville Municipal Golf Course being designated as the polling place.
-- 4. Election Precincts 11 and 15 are consolidated into a single Precinct with the Tom Daniels
Elementary School being designated as the polling place.
5. Election Precincts 2, 3 and 8 are consolidated into a single Precinct with the Center
Point American Legion Hall being designated as the polling place.

6. Election Precincts 5 and 6 are consolidated into a single Precinct with the Ingram
Schoolhouse being designated as the polling place.
7. Election Precincts 4, 9 and 10 are consolidated into a single Precinct with the Sunset
Baptist Church being designated as the polling place.
And it is further ordered that the .regularly appointed Election Officials of Election
Precincts 1, 19, 17, 11, 2, 6 and 4 shall conduct the election held in their respective
consolidated precincts on April 22, 1975.

On this the 10th day of February, 1975, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the necessity of authorizing and directing County Attorney James C. Nogues to act on behalf
of Kerr County and the State of Texas in the matter of intervening and filing claims in the
216th Judicial District Court of Kerr County, pursuant to Article 7345b, Texas Civil Statutes,
said causes being delinquent tax suits, listed as follows:

It appearing to the Court that the Kerr County Tax Collector has been heretofore served
with Citation in said causes on behalf of Kerr County and the State of Texas and that
intervention and filing of a claim in this cause is required to preserve the claims of Kerr
County and the State of Texas arising from delinquent taxes due them and constituting a lien
on the property which is subject to the said delinquent tax suit, it is ordered on motion
by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, and unanimously approved by the
Court that the County Attorney, James C. Nogues, be authorized and directed to proceed to
file an intervention in the said causes as above set forth and otherwise proceed according
to law in this matter.

NO. 12336 ORDER AUTHORIZING REFUND OF DOUBLE PAYMENT OF AD VALOREM TAX
On this the 10th day o£ February 1975, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that the Tax Assessor/Collec-
tor, Juanita Reeves Maples be authorized to refund double payment of ad valorem tax to
William Garrett.

NO. 12337 APPORTIONMENT OF $14,000.00 FROM GENERAL ROAD AND BRIDGE FUND
On this the 10th day of February 1975, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee,
seconded by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and
County Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to apportion the sum o£ $14,000.00 from the
General Road and Bridge Fund to the respective Commissioners Precincts:
