On this the 25th day of February 1975, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved the acceptance of delivery of three 1975 Model Ford Custom 500 Four Door Sedans for use by the Kerr County Sheriff's Department and authorized payment to Ken Stoepel Ford, Inc., as follows: One 1975 Ford, Motor No. 5U53C138697, Custom 500 4 dr PHT, with trade-in of one 1973 Chev. Belaire, Serial No. 1K69H35202155, 4 dr - net amount - $2900.00. One 1975 Ford, Motor No. SU53C138695, Custom 500 4 dr PHT, with trade-in of one 1973 Chev. Belaire, Serial No. 1K69H35201862, 4 dr. - net amount - $2700.00. One 1975 Ford, Motor No. SU53C138696, Custom 500 4 dr PHT, with trade-in of one 1973 Plymouth Fury I PH 41V30281708 - net amount- $3095.00. Sallee Commissioner Precinct No. 2 Adolph Bartel Commissioner Precinct No. 3 Roger Stone Commissioner Precinct No. 4 and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had: NO. 12344 APPROVAL OF VEHICLE LEASE AND TORT INDEMNITY AGREEMENT On this the 28th day of February 1975, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the Vehicle Lease and Tort Indemnity Agreement, between the Lessor, the Alamo Area Council of Governments and Kerr County and the City of Kerrville, jointly referred to as Lessee. Said Agreement to be filed, but not recorded. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12345 A RESOLUTION - RE: MANPOWER TRAINING PROGRAMS WHEREAS Bexar County and the City of San Antonio are forming a single county Consortium; and, WHEREAS the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973 as amended allows for a Consortium to be formed to be Prime Sponsor for Manpower programs throughout the localities; and, WHEREAS the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County intends to participate in the programs ~~ of the above mentioned act in a consortium of local governments; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County of Kerr will participate in Manpower Training Programs provided by the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973 as amended under the prime sponsorship of a Rural Manpower Consortium made up of the eleven rural counties of the Alamo Area; and that the Alamo Area Council of Governments serve as the mechanism for the planning and allocation of funds for these training programs throughout 3, the State Planning Region 18 except for Bexar County and for coordinating the rural programs r with metropolitan programs. On motion by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court the foregoing resolution was adopted by the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County this the 28th day of February, 1975. /s/ Julius R.
