SWANK TO PROCEED WITH THE CONSTRUC- TION DOCUMENTS PHASE OF ADDITIONAL COURT HOUSE OFFICE SPACE AND THE CITY/COUNTY JAIL On this the 14th day of April, 1975, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of instructing Lester B. Whitton and A. B. Swank to proceed with the Construction \` Documents Phase for ADDITIONAL COURT HOUSE OFFICE SPACE, AND FOR THE CITY/COUNTY JAIL. The Commissioners Court and the City Council, upon advice frao the Architects, having previously approved combining the two projects into one two story structure; and the Commis- sioners Court and the City Council having previously approved the Design Development Phase of the two projects; and the Commissioners Court and the City Council having previously committed themselves to completion of the Construction Documents Phase of the City/County Jail; and it being apparent to the Court that planning for both projects must be done simultaneously, it is ordered on motion of Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court that Lester B. Whitton and A. B. Muenker, County Clerk, belonging to Officers, witnesses and other persons, remaining in her hands uncalled for by the parties entitled thereto, for the period ending the 31st day of March 1975 and held on deposit in the County Clerk's Trust Fund in the amount of $9299.48. Also Quarterly Report of Fines Imposed, Jury and Library Fees, Judgments received and collected in the County Court by the Clerk of said Court, in the amount of $4209.20. A. Schreiber, Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, for authority to appoint and deputize Larry M. Holloway as Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas and it appearing to the Court that said application should be approved; therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authoriz- ed to deputize Larry M. Holloway as Deputy Sheriff of Rerr County, Texas, at a salary of $8400.00 per annum, effective the date of his qualification, April 21, 1975, payable out of Revenue Shazing Trust Fund. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o ^ NO. 12391 OFFER TO THOMAS ALLEN ACRES AND WIFE, ELMA ESTHSR ACRES, FOR RIGHT OF WAY FOR STATE HIGHWAY 16 On this the 18th day of April, 1975, came on to be heazd and considered by the Court the matter of acqulring a parcel of land designated by the Texas Highway Depaztment as right- of-way Parcel No. 29A from Thomas Allen Acree and wife, Elora Esther Acree, for the reconstruc- tion of State Highway 16, and it appearing to the Court that, as a result of prior negotia- tions an agreed consideration for the conveyance of the said Parcel No. 29A has been arrived at, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County offers to pap Thomas Allen Acree and wife, Elora Esther Acree, the sum of $940.00 as Compensation for land and damages for their convey- -,;:~"~ ance to the State of Texas a parcel of land comprising 0.187 acres out of Survey No. 1133 C.C.S.D. and R.G.N.G. RR Co., with payment being made upon approval for filing and recorda- tion by the Texas Highway Department of their properly executed right of way deed, together with a partial release of an outstanding lien by Union Bank of Houston, Texas, which approval shall be conditioned on final title approval and payment of all ad valorem taxes, including current taxes heretofore assessed against the property conveyed, and it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the Highway 16 right of and Elora Esther Acree, way fund in the amount of S940.00 payable to Thomas Allen Acree/ which voucher shall be delivered upon final approval for filing and recordation by the Texas Highway Department of the right of way deed and partial release of lien as aforesaid. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12392 OFFER TO THOi!!AS ALLEN ACRES AND WIPE, ELMA ESTHER ACRES, AND THE VETERANS LAND BOARD OF THE STATE OF TEXAS FOR RIGHT OF WAY FOR STATE HIGHWAY 16 On this the 18th day of April, 1975, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of acquiring a right of way easement for a parcel of land designated by the Texas Highway Department as right of way Parcel No. 29 from Thomas Allen Acree and wife, Elora Esther Acree, and the Veterans Land Board of the State of Texas, for the reconstruction of State Highway 16, and it appeazing to the Court that, as a result of prior negotiations an agreed consideration for the conveyance of the said Parcel No. 29 has been arrived at, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, and unanimous- ly approved by the Court that Kerr County offers to pay the Veterans Land Board of the State of Texas the sum of $1,975.00 as compensation for land and damages for the conveyance to the
