NO. 12390 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF E. A. SCHREIBER, SHERIFF, FOR APPOINTMENT OF LARRY
M. HOLLOWAY, AS DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERB COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 18th day of April 1975, came on to be considered by the Court the applica-
tion of E. A. Schreiber, Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, for authority to appoint and deputize
Larry M. Holloway as Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas and it appeazing to the Court that
said application should be approved; therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authoriz-
ed to deputize Larry M. Holloway as Deputy Sheriff of Rerr County, Texas, at a salazy of
$8400.00 per annum, effective the date of his qualification, April 21, 1975, payable out of
Revenue Sharing Trust Fund.

STATE HIGHWAY 16
On this the 18th day of April, 1975, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of acquiring a pazcel of land designated by the Texas Highway Depaztment as right-
of-way Parcel No. 29A from Thomas Allen Acree and wife, Elma Esther Acree, for the reconstruc-
tion of State Highway 16, and it appearing to the Court that, as a result of prior negotia-
tions an agreed consideration for the conveyance of the said Parcel No. 29A has been azrived
at, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, and
unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County offers to pay Thomas Allen Acree and wife,
~,, Elms Esther Acree, the sum of $940.00 as compensation for land sad damages for their convey-
,~~`J ance to the State of Texas a parcel of land comprising 0.187 acres out of Survey No. 1133
C.C.S.D. and R.G.N.G. RR Co., with payment being made upon approval for filing and recorda-
tion by the Texas Highway Depaztment of their properly executed right of way deed, together
with a paztial release of an outstanding lien by Union Bank of Houston, Texas, which approval
shall be conditioned on final title approval and payment of ali ad valorem taxes, including
current taxes heretofore assessed against the property conveyed, and it is further ordered
that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the Highway 16 right of

On this the 18th day of April, 1975, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of acquiring a right of way easement for a pazcel of land designated by the
Texas Highway Department as right of way Parcel No. 29 from Thomas Allen Acree and wife,
Elms Esther Acree, and the Veterans Land Boazd of the State of Texas, for the reconstruction
of State Highway 16, and it appearing to the Court that, as a result of prior negotiations
an agreed consideration for the conveyance of the said Parcel No. 29 has been azrived at,
it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Baztel, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, and unanimous-
ly approved by the Court that Kerr County offers to pay the Veterans Land Boazd of the State
of Texas the sum of $1,975.00 as compensation for land and damages for the conveyance to the
