NO. 12435 APPROVAL AND ACCEPTANCE OF ARCHITECTURAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR PROPOSED
CITY-COUNTY JAIL
On this the 27th day oŁ June 1975, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved and accepted Architectural Plans and
Specifications for the proposed City-County Jail, as prepared by A. B. Swank and Lester B.
Whitton, as per contractual agreement.

NO. 12436 TRANSFER OF $4000.50 FROM GENERAL FUND TO JAIL PLANNING FUND
On this the 27th day of June 1975, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded
by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that the Clerk and Treasurer be and ""
are hereby authorized to transfer the sum of $4000.50 from the General Fund to the Officers
Salary Fund.

NO. 12437 APPROVAL OF PAYMENT OF $14,927.00 TO A. B. SWANK AND LESTER B. WHITTON FOR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR PROPOSED CITY-COUNTY JAIL
On this the 27th day of June 1975, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by
Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved payment of $14,927.00 to A. B. Swank and
Lester B. Whitton for professional services for the proposed City-County Jail - balance due
as per contractual agreement, payable out of Jail Planning Fund and the Clerk and Treasurer
are hereby authorized to draw a voucher in the amount of $14,927.00, payable to A. B. Swank
and Lester B. Whitton for professional services.

NO. 12438 ORDER CLOSING JAIL PLANNING FUND
On this the 27th day of June 1975, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the Jail Planning Fund be closed
on the books of the Treasurer.

NO. 12439 APPROVAL OF PAYMENT TO A. B. SWANK AND LESTER B. WHITTON FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
IN REGARD TO ARCHITECTURAL PLANS & SPECIFICATIONS FOR PROPOSED CITY-COUNTY JAIL
On this the 27th day of June 1975, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved payment to A. B. Swank and Lester B.
Whitton for professional services in regard to architectural plans and specifications for the
proposed City-County Jail, in the amount of $4591.90, as per bill for cost over-run, with
one-half of this amount to be refunded by the City of Kerrville, upon their final approval,
and the Clerk and Treasurer are hereby authorized to draw a voucher in the amount of $4591.90
out of the General Fund, payable to A. B. Swank and Lester B. Whitton.

On this the 27th day of June, 1975, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded
by Commissioner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved payment to A. B. Swank and
Lester B. Whitton for professional services for proposed Kerr County Courthouse Annex,
in the amount of $17,800.46, payable out of the General Fund and the Clerk and Treasurer
are hereby authorized to draw a voucher in the amount of $17,800.46, payable to A. B. Swank
and Lester B. Whitton.

NO. 12442 ORDER AUTHORIZING INVESTMENT OF COUNTY PERMANENT SCHOOL FUNDS
On this the 27th day of June, 1975 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of investing certain funds now on deposit in the account of the Kerr County
Permanent School Fund;
And it appearing to the Court the sum of $7,044.38 out of the principal account should
be invested as required by law and that such amount which is presently available could be
invested advantageously in Bandera County Certificate of Indebtedness 6.75% due 3/15/77
for the purchase price of $5,044.38 and Frisco Independent Schoolhouse Bonds 4% due June 1,
1976 for the purchase price of $2,000.00.
It is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, and
unanimously approved by the Court that the Chas. Schreiner Bank be authorized to invest
$7,044.38 of presently uninvested funds on deposit in the account of the Kerr County
Permanent School Funds in Bandera County Certificate of Indebtedness 6.75% due 3/15/77 for
the purchase price of $5,044.38 and Frisco Independent Schoolhouse Bond 4% due June 1, 1976
for the purchase price of $2,000.00.

On this the 1st day of July 1975, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that Kerr County enter into a
contract with M. E. Allison & Co., Inc. to act as Financial Advisors relative to the proposed
Court House and/or Jail Bond Issue.
