Seal) Exhibit "A" filed but not recorded. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12585 APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION - RE: STATE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTA- TION On this the 27th day of January 1976, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved the following Resolution: RESOLUTION WHEREAS, The State Department of Highways and Public Transportation has come before the Kerr County Commissioners' Court asking that the County join with them in a program to promote better traffic safety on the County's roads; and, WHEREAS, the Federal Government has made funds available through the Federal Highway Administration to finance cooperative efforts between local and state governments for the purpose of developing and implementing projects which will aid in the better control of ve- hicular traffic on county roads; and, PIHEREAS, the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County is in agreement with the Governor's Office of Traffic Safety that development and implementation of a Pavement Marking Demonstra- tion Program in the County would be beneficial and an improvement of the safety of County roads for its citizens through extensive striping; and, WHEREAS, the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation agrees to finance a C~J _i - ~! Pavement Marking Program for Kerr County from Federal Highway Administration funds received by the Governor's Office of Traffic Safety, ~, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Kerr County Commissioners' Court agrees to join with the State Department oŁ Highways and Public Transportation in a Pavement Marking Demonstration Program for the purpose of applying control safety striping on eligible County roads.
