ability of the County to pay the same; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDERED BY THE COMMISSIONERS' COURT OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS: ~--
SECTION 1: That the "Official Notice of Sale" and "Official Statement" prepared in
connection with the issuance and sale of the proposed $860,000 "Kerr County, Texas, General
Obligation Bonds, Series 1976," dated February 1, 1976, are hereby approved. A copy of said
documents shall be attached hereto and made a part of this order for all purposes as "Exhibit
A".
SECTION 2: That M. E. Allison & Co., Inc., Financial Consultants to the County, are
hereby authorized to use and distribute said documents to prospective bidders for the purpose
of securing bids on the bonds described in said documents and proposed to be issued, and that
the date and time of sale of said bonds shall be February 12, 1976 at 10:00 o'clock A. M.
The above order having been read in full, it was moved by Commissioner Stone and
seconded by Commissioner Sallee that the same be passed and adopted. Thereupon, the question
being called for, the County Judge put the motion to a vote of the members of the Commis-
sinners' Court, and the motion carried by the follwoing vote: County Judge Neunhoffer and
Commissioners Schwethelm, Sallee, Bartel and Stone voted "AYE"; and none voted "NO".
The County Judge declared the motion carried and the order passed and the Clerk was
instructed to record same in the proper Minutes of the Court.

NO. 12585 APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION - RE: STATE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTA-
TION
On this the 27th day of January 1976, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved the following Resolution:
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The State Department of Highways and Public Transportation has come before the
Kerr County Commissioners' Court asking that the County join with them in a program to
promote better traffic safety on the County's roads; and,
WHEREAS, the Federal Government has made funds available through the Federal Highway
Administration to finance cooperative efforts between local and state governments for the
purpose of developing and implementing projects which will aid in the better control of ve-
hicular traffic on county roads; and,
PIHEREAS, the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County is in agreement with the Governor's
Office of Traffic Safety that development and implementation of a Pavement Marking Demonstra-
tion Program in the County would be beneficial and an improvement of the safety of County
roads for its citizens through extensive striping; and,
WHEREAS, the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation agrees to finance a

by the Governor's Office of Traffic Safety, ~,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Kerr County Commissioners' Court agrees to join
with the State Department oŁ Highways and Public Transportation in a Pavement Marking
Demonstration Program for the purpose of applying control safety striping on eligible County
roads.
