of February 1976 at 10:00 o'clock A. M., in the City of Kerrville, Texas, a regular term of
the Commissioners' Court, with the following officers present:

and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
NO. 12589 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS
On this the 9th day of February 1976, came on to be examined by the Court the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the respective Commissioners' Precincts since
the last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Clerk and
Treasurer, in amounts and out of Road & Bridge Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4, General, Officers Salary,
County Law Library, Jury, Kerr County Public Library and Flood Control Maintenance Funds, as
shown in the Minutes of Accounts Allowed from page 1874 thru 1878 Voucher Nos. 44357
thru 44531 which were made a part hereof and of this order.
Motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone and unanimously
approved by the Court.

NO. 12590 MONTHLY REPORTS OF COUNTY & PRECINCT OFFICIALS
On this the 9th day of February 1976, came on to be examined by the Court the various
reports of January of the County and Precinct Officials of Kerr County, Texas, the same
having been heard and considered by the Court, finds that said reports are true and correct
and should be approved, therefore upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commis-
sioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the submitted reports be accepted and
filed with the County Clerk for future reference and subject to audit:

NO. 12591 ORDER AUTHORIZING INVESTMENT OF SURPLUS FUNDS OUT OF JURY, GENERAL, ROAD & BRIDGE
NO. 4, PERb1P.NENT IMPROVEMENT, FLOOD CONTROL MAINTENANCE AND SOCIAL SECURITY FUNDS
On this the 9th day of February 1976, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of investing certain funds currently on deposit in the following funds and in the
amounts listed:
Jury Fund S 10,000.00
General Fund 200,000.00
Road & Bridge #4 Fund 10,000.00
Permanent Improvement Fund 15,000.00
Flood Control Maintenance Fund 15,000.00
Social Security Fund 20,000.00
and that these funds should be invested as soon as current Certificates of Deposits mature
and the proceeds thereof are deposited to the credit of Kerr County, pending possible need
of these funds for expenditure, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by

Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court that the sum of $10,000.00 out of
Jury Fund, $200,000.00 out oŁ General Fund, $10,000.00 out of Road & Bridge No. 4 Fund,
515,000.00 out oŁ Permanent Improvement Fnnd, $15,000.00 out of Flood Control Maintenance
Fund and $20,000.00 out of Social Security Fund, be invested in Interest Bearing Certificates
of Deposits with the Chas. Schreiner Bank, which investments shall be made as soon as
practicable and that such Certificates of Deposits shall be for a period of 90 days from date
of investment.
And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw proper
vouchers on the funds aforementioned and in the amounts above set forth to effect the afore-
said investments with the Chas. Schreiner Bank.

NO. 12592 PLAT OF CARTWHEEL LODGE OF KERRVILLE APPROVED
On this the 9th day of February 1976, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Cartwheel Lodge of
Kerrville.

NO, 12593 OFFER TO ENERGY-LAND, INC. FOR RIGHT OF WAY FOR STATE HIGHWAY 16
Gn this the 9th day of February, 1976, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of acquiring four parcels of land designated by the State Department of Highways
', and Public Transportation as Parcels 39, 40, 41 and 44 for the reconstruction of State High-
way 16; and it appearing to the Court that, as a result of prior negotiations with representa-
tives of Energy-Land, Inc,, formerly known as Upper Guadalupe Investment Company, Inc.,
present owner of the four said parcels, an agreed consideration for their conveyance to the
State Department of Highways and Public Transportation has been arrived at, it is ordered
', on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, and unanimously
approved by the Court that Kerr County offers to pay Energy-Land, Inc the following sums as
Compensation for land and damages for the Corporation's conveyance to the State of Texas of
the four hereinafter set forth parcels of right of way:
1. Parcel 39 comprising 1.040 acres
2. Parcel 40 comprising 1.701 acres
3. Parcel 41 comprising 1.936 acres
4. Parcel 44 comprising 0.143 acres

Total 11,720.00
Payment of the foregoing total sum of $11,720.00 shall be made upon approval for filing
and recordation by the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation of the Corpora-
tion's four right of way deeds as aforesaid upon the payment of all ad valorem taxes, includ-
ing current taxes heretofore assessed against the property conveyed; and it is further ordered
that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the Highway 16 right of
way fund in the amount of S11,720.00 payable to Energy-Land, Inc., which voucher shall be
delivered upon final title approval and final approval for filing by the State Department of
Highways and Public Transgortation oŁ the four right of way deeds aforesaid.
