period of 90 days from date of investment.
And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a

On this the 8th day of March 1976, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of investing certain funds, upon receipt of same by the County Treasurer of Kerr
County, Texas, from bond sale proceeds, out of Kerr County Courthouse Renovation Fund, in
the amount of 5100,000.00.
It is ordered on notion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and
unanimously approved by the Court, that the sum of S100,000.00 out of Kerr County Courthouse

On this the 8th day of March, 1976, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of employing professional services for preparing plena and specifications for
remodeling the present courthouse, including heating system renovation; and it appearing
to the Court that previous work done for the County by Lester B, Whitton has been completed
in commendable manner, and it further appearing to the Court that this work should be done
by one or more of the principals presently responsible for the additional courthouse office
space and the City/County jail; it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, and unanimously approved by the Court that the professional services
of Lester B. Whitton be employed to prepare plans sad specifications for remodeling the
present courthouse, including heating system renovations, pursuant to such written contract
as may be agreed upon and entered into with Kerr County.

Public Transportation as sight of way Parcel No. 42 from Donald H. Gillett for the reconstruc..
tion of State Highway 16, sad it appearing to the Court that, as a result of prior negotia-
tions an agreed consideration for the conveyance of the said Parcel No. 42 has been arrived
at, it is ordered on motion ;by Commissioner Schwathelm, seconded by Commissioner Sallee,
and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County offers to pay Donald B. Gillett, a

~~ single man, the sum of $1,700.00 as compensation for land and damages for their conveyance
to the State of Texas a parcel of land comprising 0.628 acres out of Survey No. 1174, James
Spicer, with payment being made upon approval for filing and recordation by the State
Department of Highways and Public Transportation of their properly executed right of way
deed, which approval .shall be conditioned on final title approval and payment of all ad
valorem taxes, including currant taxes heretofore assessed against the property conveyed,
and it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher
on the Highway 16 right of way fund in the amount of $1,700.00 payable to Donald B. Gillett,
which voucher shall be delivered upon final approval for filing and recordation by the State
Department of Highways and Public Transportation of the right of way deed aforesaid.

On this the 8th day of March, 1976, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of amending Order No. 12,588 entered on the 2nd day of February, 1976 and recorded
in Vol. O, page 56 of the minutes of the Court; and it appeazing to the Court that such
order originally directed the payment of the sum of $15,600.00 to Kerrville 16, LTD., G. E.
Lehmann and Gordon H. Monroe, upon final title approval and filing of a right of way deed
from Kerrville 16, LTD. and a partial release of lien from G. E. Lehmann and Gordon H.
Monroe; and it further appearing to the Court that the authorized representative of Kerrville
16, LTD. has by letter dated Much 4, 1976 authorized the payment of the consideration for
the conveyance of the 0.376 acres of right of way directly to the lienholdera; and it further
appearing to the Court that the said G. E. Lehmann and Gordon H. Monroe have transferred the
original lien concerned to Energy-Land, Inc., a Texas Corporation, and that they have request-
ed payment be made to said Corporation, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel,
seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm, and unanimously approved by the Court that the said
Order No. 12,588 entered on the 2nd day of February, 1976 be amended so as to provide for
the payment of the agreed consideration of $15,600.00 to Energy-Land, Inc.; and it is further
ordered that the Clerk and Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the Highway 16 right
of way fund in the amount of 515,600.00 payable to Energy-Land, Inc. upon final approval for
filing and recordation by the State Depaztment of Highways and Public Transportation of
the right of way deed and partial release of lien as aforesaid.
