Schwethelm Adolph Bartel Roger Stone County Judge Commissioner Precinct No. 1 Commissioner Precinct No. 3 Commissioner Precinct No. 4 and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had: NO. 12638 ORDER DIRECTING INVESTMENT OF FUNDS ON.DEPOSIT IN COURTHOUSE AND JAIL CONSTRUCTION FUND NO. 1 IN CERTIFICATES OF DEPOSIT On this the 18th day of March, 1976, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the natter of investing certain funds currently on deposit in the County Depository in interest bearing certificates of deposit pending actual requirements for expenditure for gayment of construction contract completions; and after Consideration of estimated dates and amounts of payments scheduled to become due, it is ordered,on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm seconded by Commissioner Stone, and unanimously approved by the Court that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to invest a total of 5735,000.00 out of the Courthouse and Jail Construction Fund in certificates of deposit with the Chas. Schreiner Bank in the following amounts and for the periods indicated: 1. Certificate to mature May 1, 1976 S90,000.00 2. Certificate to astute June 1, 1976 95,000.00 3. Certificate to mature July 1, 1976 120,000.00 4. Certificate to mature August 1, 1976 125 000.00 5. Certificate to mature September 1, 1976 , 120,000.00 6. Certificate to mature in 90 days from date of investment 185,000.00 Total 5735,000.00 and it is further ordered that the County Treasurer be ordered to deposit all interest earned by certificates of deposit from the Courthouse and Jafl Construction Fund No. 1 in the "Courthouse Special Reserve Fund" within the County Treasury account, which said fund is here- by ordered established on the books of the County Treasurer. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12639 ORDER AUTHORIZING INVESTMENT OFIiJNDS OUT OF COURTHOUSE AND JAIL BOND SI111CING FUND On this the 18th day of March 1976, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the _ matter of investing funds currently on deposit in the Courthouse and Jail Bond Sinking Fund and that the sum of 56,086.67 should be invested out of said fund. It is ozdered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone, and -~ ~ ~,~ unanimously approved by the Court, that the sum of S6,086.67 out of the Courthouse and Jail Bond Sinking Fund be invested in an Interest Bearing Certificate of Deposit with the Chaa: Schreiner Bank, with interest earned to be credited to said Fund, for a period of six months from date of investment. And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a proper voucher on the fund aforementioned and in the amount above set forth to effect the aforesaid invsstment with the Chas. Schwethelm Commissioner Precinct No. 1 Roger Stone Commissioner Precinct No. 4 and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had: NO. 12640 CLAIM OF LARRY'S BODY SHOP FOR CAR REPAIRS FOR KERR COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT On this the 26th day of March 1976, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved the claim of Larry's Body Shop in the amount of S535.46 for car repairs for the Kerr County Sheriff's Department and that the County Clerk and County Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher in the above amount out of Officers Salary Fund, payable to Larry's Body Shop. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o COURT ADJOURNED MARCH 26, 1976 at 10:00 o'clock A. M. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o The resignation of Tax Assessor-Collector, Juanita Reeves Maples, was filed with the County Clerk on March 31, 1976 at 5:30 o'clock P. M., and thereafter the official oath of the successor Tax Assessor-Collector, Doris Lee Smith, was administered, pursuant to Order No. 12603, dated February 12, 1976. The continuation of Public Employees Faithful Performance Blanket Bond of the Deputies of the County Tax Assessor-Collector had been previously confirmed by letter dated March 10, 1976 and on file in the office of the County Clerk.
