unanimously approved by the Court, that the sum of S6,086.67 out of the Courthouse and Jail
Bond Sinking Fund be invested is an Interest Bearing Certificate of Deposit with the Chas:
Schreiner Bank, with interest earned to be credited to said Fund, for a period of six months '
from date of investment.
And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a
proper voucher on the fund aforementioned and in the amount above set forth to effect the
aforesaid investment with the Chas. Schreiner Bank.

The resignation of Tax Assessor-Collector, Juanita Reeves Maples, was filed with the
County Clerk on March 31, 1976 at 5:30 o'clock P. M., and thereafter the official oath of
the successor Tax Assessor-Collector, Doris Lee Smith, was administered, pursuant to Order
No. 12603, dated February 12, 1976.
The continuation of Public Employees Faithful Performance Blanket Bond of the Deputies
of the County Tax Assessor-Collector had been previously confirmed by letter dated March 10,
1976 and on file in the office of the County Clerk.
