On this the 12th day of April 1976, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the application of Mary Brooke,
District Clerk, for a salary increase for Deputy District Clerk, Betty Janine Mahan, from
55400.00 per annum to S6,000.00 per annum, effective as of April 1, 1976.

NO. 12648 APPOINTMENT OF MRS. LON SMART AS A MEMBER OF THE KERR COUNTY HISTORICAL COMMISSION
On this the 12th day of April 1976, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that Mrs. Lon Smart be appointed as
a member of the Kerr County Historical Commission, to fill the vacancy created by the
resignation of Mrs. Helen Hall.

NO. 12649 APPROVAL OF BY-LAWS OF KERR COUNTY HISTORICAL COMMISSION
r On this the 12th day of April 1976, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded
~ by Commissioner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved the By-Laws of the Kerr County
Historical Commission and the Clerk waa instructed to ilia a copy of the By-Laws.

NO. 12650 ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION - RE: ALAMO MANPOWER CONSORTIUM
On this the 12th day of April 1976, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously adopted the following Resolution:
STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF KERR
A RESOLUTION
WHEREAS the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973 as amended requires a prime
sponsor for manpower training programs throughout the localities;
AND, WHEREAS the Alamo Manpower Consortium has been the prime sponsor for CETA funded
programs in this Region;
AND, WHEREAS, the same act provides for additional funds to those groups of local goverri-
- ments who act in consortium for implementing the provisions of this act;
AND, WHEREAS the Comissioners Court of Kerr County intends to participate in the progsama
of the above mentioned act in a consortium of local governments;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:
THAT the County of Kerr will be a member of the Alamo Manpower Consortium ai provided
by the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973 as amended;
AND, THAT the City of San Antonio, Texas, act as the administrative azm of the Con-
sortium in matters of operation of the program;
AND, THAT the Alamo Area Council of Governments serve as the mechanism for coordinating the
planning and allocation of funds for these training programs throughout the State Planning
Region 18, except for Bexar County;
AND, THAT the Commissioners Court of Comal County through Itself or its own instrumentality,
~+ be designated as the program agent for the County of Kerr.
