Mr. Jack Auld declined reappointment by letter dated June 2, 1976. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF KERR Y PETITION FOR DISCONTINUANCE OF COUNTY ROAD TO THE HONORABLE COMMISSIONERS COURT OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS: COMES NOW, Temple Henderson and wife, Wanda Henderson, of the County of Kerr, State of Texas, and respectfully files this their application and petition, pursuant to the provisions of Art. 6705, V.T.C.S., signed by at least eight (8) freeholders in the precinct in which the hereinafter mentioned road is located to discontinue the public road more fully herein- after described, including specifically a description of the beginning and termination of such road, after the expiration of at least twenty (20) days notice by written advertisement of applicants' intended application, posted at the courthouse door of Kerr County, Texas, and at two other public places in the vicinity of the route of such road, and for such application ""' and petition your applicants would respectfully show to the Commissioners Court of Kerr County, Texas, that they are the owners of property that surround the section of the hereinafter described public road; that such public road has been bypassed by the new State Highway 27 and is no longer used and is in fact unusable by the public and is no longer improved nor maintained by the county, and that there is no public necessity that such road ever be or used as a public road, but on the contrary the same is closed off by said new highway fence and should be and remain closed and discontinued. S. Lester Survey No. 420, Abstract No. 231, in Kerr County, Texas; formerly State Highway No. 27 right-of-way; abutted and adjoined along both sides for full length by lands of Temple Henderson, 9.659 acres conveyed from J. S.
