N0. 12743 ORDER APPROVING MONTHLY ESTIMATE NO. 5 OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO WACO
CONSTRUCTION, INC.
On this the 4th day of August 1976, came on to be examined by the Court, the Contractor's
request for payment of Monthly Estimate No. 5 of the Construction Contract for the Annex to
the Kerr County, Texas, Courthouse and Jail Building. Said request for payment having been
examined by Lester B. Whitton, P. E. and A. B. Swank, F.A.I.A. and recommended to the Court
that payment be made to Waco Construction, Inc., in the amount of $50,882.40.
Therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone,
the Court unanimously approved the Monthly Estimate No. 5 of the Construction Contract and the
Clerk and Treasurer are hereby authorized to draw a voucher in the amount of $50,882.40,
payable to Waco Construction, Inc., out of the Courthouse and Jail Construction Fund No. 2.

NO. 12744 APPROVAL OF PAYMENT TO LESTER B. 41HITTON, P. E. AND A. B. SWANK, F.A.I.A. FOR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
On this the 4th day of August 1976, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, second-
ed by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved the payment to Lester B. Whitton, P.
F.. and A. B. Swank, F.A.I.A, for professional services in the amount of S11,137.89 out of
the Courthouse and Jail Construction Fund No. 2, in regard to the Annex to the Kerr County
Courthouse, and that the Clerk and Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher in the above
amount, payable to Lester B. Whitton, P. E. and A. S. Swank, F.A.I.A. for professional
services, as per contract. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o
NO. 12745 ORDER AUTHORI'LING INVESTMENT OF SURPLUS FUNDS OUT OF COURTHOUSE AND JAIL
CONSTRUCTION FUND NO. 1 AND COURTHOUSE AND JAIL CONSTRUCTION FUND NO. 2
On this the 4th day of August 1976, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the
matter of investing certain funds currently on deposit as listed below:

Wand that these funds should be invested as soon as current Certificates oŁ Deposits mature
and the proceeds thereof are deposited to the credit of Kerr, County, pending possible need
of these funds for expenditure, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded
by Commissioner Stone and unanimously approved by the Court, that the sum of $125,000.00 out
of the Courthouse and Jail Construction Fund No. 1, $6,000.00 out oŁ the Courthouse and Jail
Construction Fund No. 2 (for period of 90 days) and $6,000.00 out of the Courthouse and Jail
Construction Fund No. 2 (To mature April 1, 1977 , be invested in Interest Bearing Certificates
of Deposits, with the Chas. Schreiner Bank, which investments shall be made as soon as practic-
able and that such Certificates of Deposits shall be for the length of time as shown above.
And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw proper
vouchers on the funds aforementioned and in the amounts above set forth to effect the afore-
said investments with the Chas. Schreiner Bank.
