Box 12608, Capitol Station, Austin, Texas X8711. o-o-o-o-o-~~-o-o-o-o NO. 12749 ORDER AUTHORIZING INVESTMENT OF SURPLUS FUNDS OU`1' OF GENERAL FUND, ROAD & BRIDGE NO. 4 FUND, PERMANENT IMPROVEMENT FUND, FLOOD CO2dTROL MAINTENANCE FUND AND SOCIAL SECURITY FUND On this the 9th day o£ August 1976, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of investing certain funds currently on deposit as listed below: FUND General Fund Road & Bridge No. 4 Fund Permanent Improvement Fund Flood Control Maintnenance Fund Social Security Fund PERIOD OF TIME AMOUNT 90 days $150,000.00 90 days $ 10,000.00 90 days S 15,000.00 90 days $ 20,000.00 90 days S 5,000.00 and that these Funds should be invested as soon as current Certificates of Deposits mature and the proceeds thereof are deposited to the credit of Kerr County, pending possible need of these funds for expenditure, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court, that the sum of 5]_50,000.00 out of General Fund, $10,000.00 out of Road and Bridge No. 4 Fund, $15,000.00 out of Permanent Improvement r^und, $20,000.00 out of Flood Control Maintenance Fund and $5,000.00 out of Social Security Fund, be invested in Interest Bearing Certificates of Deposits, with the Chas. Schreiner Bank, which investments shall be made as soon as practicable and that such Certificates of Deposits shall be for the length of time as shown above. And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw proper vouchers on the funds aforementioned and in the amounts above ;set forth to effect the afore- said investments with the Chas.
