NO. 17751 BUDGET HEARING SET FOR SEPTEMBER 1ST, 1976 AT 9:00 O'CLOCK A. Ai.
On this the 9th day of August ]976, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that a public hearing on the 1977
Budget for Kerr County, Texas, be set at 9:00 o'clo<:k A. M., September 1st, 1976 and that the
County Clerk be hereby directed to issue notice by ;publication, with notice thereof to be
published in the official newspaper of Kerr County one time, that the Commissioners' Court
of Kerr County will submit for consideration of the public, a Budget for the Control of the
County Financial Affairs during the fiscal year, January 1st, 1977 to December 31, 1977, the
same to be at a public hearing to be held September 1st, 1976 at 9:00 o'clock A. A1., in the
Kerr County Commissioners' Court Room of the Courthouse in Kerrville, Texas.

NO. 12752 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF DORIS LEE SMITH, TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR, FOR APPOINTMENT
OF CATHY B. MILLS, AS DEPUTY TAX ASSESSOR Or^ KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 9th day of August 1976, came on to be considered by the Court, the applica-
tion of Doris Lee Smit}, Tax Assessor-Collector of r:err County, Texas, for authority to
appoint and deputize Cathy B. Mills as Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector of Kerr County, Te:cas
and it appearing to the Court that said application should be ,ranted, therefore, upon motion
made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Co~xrt unanimously approved
that said officer be authorized to deputize Cathy B. Aiills as Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector
of Kerr County, Texas and that her salary be fixed at $5750.00 per annum, effective the date
of her qualification, the same being August 11, 1976, payable out of the Revenue Sharing Trust
Fund.

On this the 9th day of August 1976, camp on to be considered by the Court, the applica-
tion of Emmie A1. Muenker, County Clerk, for approval of a salary adjustment for Florence N;.
blheeler, Deputy County Clerk, and it appearing to the Court that said application should be
granted, therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Bartel,
the Court unanimously approved the salary adjustment of. Florence Ai. Wheeler, Deputy County
Clerk, in the amount of. $6865.00 per annum, effective as of August 1, 1976.

NO. 12754 APPOINTMENT OF LEROY PRESSLER AS PRESIDING ELECTION JUDGE OF ELECTION PRECINCT NO. 8
On this 9th day af. August 1976, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by
Commissioner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved the appointment of Leroy Pressler as
Presiding Judge of Election Precinct No. 8, to fill the vacancy, due to the death of Herbert
Schuetze.
