NO. 12763 ADOPTION OF BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 1977
On this the 1st day of September 1976, came on to be considered by the Court the public
hearing in the matter of the adoption of the County Budget for the year 1977. It appearing
to the Court that proper notices have been published in the official newspaper of Kerr County
in the City of Kerrville, Texas for one week prior to the hearing date hereof, and after
thorough examination by the Court and the consideration of the public interest of the community,
the Court is of the opinion that the proposed budget should be approved.
Therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone,
the Court unanimously approved the adoption of the County Budget for the year 1977.

NO. J_2764 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF KERRVILLE SOUTH II
On this the 1st day of September 1976, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Kerrville South
II, subject to the provisions that actual maintenance of roadcaays will not be assumed by
Kerr County until residential development shall justify said maintenance.

N0. 12755 ORDER AUTHOR ILING INVESTMENT OF SURPLUS FUNDS CUT OF COURTHOUSE & JAIL CONSTRUCTION
FUND NO. 1
On this the 1st day of September 1976, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of investing certain funds currently on deposit in the Courthouse and ,7ai1 Con-
struction Fund No. 1 and that these funds should be invested as soon as current Certificates
of Deposit mature and the proceeds thereof' are deposited to the credit of Kerr County, pending
possible need of these funds for expenditc.re, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone,
seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court, that the sum of
$110,000.00 out of the Courthouse and Jail. Construction Fund No. 1, be invested in an Interest
Bearing Certificate of Deposit, with the Chas. Schreiner Bank, which investment shall be
made as soon practicable and that such Certificate of Deposit to mature December 13, 1976.
And. it is further ordered that the C].erk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a
proper voucher on the Courthouse b Jail Construction Funa No. 1, in the amount of $110,000.00,
payable to Chas. Schreiner Bank, to effect: the aforesaid investment.
