the Court unanimously approved the adoption of the County Budget for the year 1977.

NO. 12764 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF KERRVILLE SOUTH II
On this the lst day of September 1976, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Kerrville South
II, subject to the provisions that actual maintenance of road~.aays will not be assumed by
Kerr County until residential development shall justify said maintenance.

N0. 12765 ORDER AUTHORIZING INVESTMENT OF 5URFLUS FUNDS OUT OF COURTHOUSE & JAIL CONSTRUCTIGN
FUND N0. 1
On this the 1st day of September 1976, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of investing certain funds currently on deposit in the Courthouse and Tail Con-
struction Fund No. 1 and that these funds should be invested as soon as current Certificates
of Deposit mature and the proceeds thereof are deposited to t:he credit of Kerr County, pending
possible need of these funds for expenditure, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone,
seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by t:he Court, that the sum of
5110,000.00 out of the Courthouse and Jail Construction Fund No. 1, be invested in an Interest
Bearing Certificate of Deposit, with the Chas. Schreiner Bank:, which investment shall be
made as soon practicable and that such Certificate of Deposit: to mature December 13, 1976.
And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasuz~er be authorized to draw a
proper voucher on the Courthouse & Jail Construction Fund No. 1, in the amount of $110,000.00,
payable to Chas. Schreiner Bank, to effect the aforesaid investment.

NO. 12767 ORDER AUTHORIZING INVESTMENT OF SURPLUS FUNDS OUT OF JURY FUND
On this the 7th day of September 1976, came on to be heard and considered b;~ the Court
the matter of investing certain funds currently on deposit in the Jury Fund.
It is ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone and
unanimously approved by the Court that the sum of $10,000.00 out of the Jury Fund be invested
in an Interest Bearing Certificate of Deposit with the Chas. Schreiner Bank, which investment
shall be made as soon as practicable and that such Certificate of Deposit to mature January
10, 1977.
And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a proper

NO. 12768 ORDER AkPROVING hIONTHLY ESTIMATE NO. 6 OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO WACO CONSTRIIC-
TION, INC.
On this tha 7th day of September 1976, came on to he examined by the Court, the
Contractor's request for payment of r:onthly Estimate No. 6 of the Construction Contract for
the Annex to the Kerr County, Texas, Courthouse and Jail Building. Said request for payment
having been examined by Lester B. Whitton, P. E. and A. B. Swank, F. A. I. A. and recommended
to the Court that payment be made to Waco Construction, Inc., in the amount of 5109,053.00.
Therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone,
the Court unanimously approved the Monthly Estimate No. 6 of the Construction Contract and
the Clerk and Treasurer are hereby authorized to draw a voucher in the amount of $68,551.51
out of the Courthouse and Jail Construction Fund No. 1 anfl a vouchor in the aa:ount of
$40,501.49 out of the Courthouse and Jail Construction Fund No. 2, payable to tidaco Construc-
tion, Inc.
