BAXTER, AS DEPUTY TAX ASSESSOR OF KERB COUNTY, TEXAS On this the 8th day of November 1976, came on to be considered by the Court, the applica- tion of Doris Lee Smith, Tax Assessor-Collector of Kerr County, Texas, for authority to appoint and deputize Janette H. Baxter as Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector of Kerr County, Texas and it appearing to the Court that said application should be granted, therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to deputize Janette H. D. HALL TO FILL VACANCY IN THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF THE OFFICE OF CONSTABLE FOR JUSTICE PRECINCT NUMBER 5 OF KERB COUNTY On this the 8th day of November, 1976 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the request of T. D. Hall to be appointed to fill the existing vacancy in the office of Constable for Justice Precinct No. 5 of Kerr County to serve the remaining portion of the current unexpired term of said office from the present time until January 1, 1977; and it appearing to the Court that the majority of the voters participating in the General Election held in Justice Precinct No. 5 on November 2, 1976 did, pursuant to the provisions of Article 6.06a of the Texas Election Code, elect the said T. D. Hall to the office of Constable of Justice Precinct No. 5 for a regulaz texm of office commencing on January 1, 1977; and it Further appearing to the Court that the said election of T. D. Hall was an expression of con- cern and need for the services of an additional local peace officer in the northwest portion of Kerr County, which need should be met forthwith; and it further appearing to the Court that the said T, D, Hall has offered to serve as Constable for Justice Precinct No. 5 without remuneration of any sort, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commis- sioner Sallee, and unanimously approved by the Court that T. D. Hall be appointed effeetive immediately to serve the remaining unexpired term of the office of Constable of Justice Precinct No. 5 of Kerz County, which unexpired term expires on December 31, 1976, the said appointment herein made to commence upon his qualification for office and until his successor qualifies. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12820 APPROVAL OF BOND OF T.
