ORDER NO. 12739 OFFER TO DOROTHY McDOWELL MORRIS AND HUSBAND, CLIFFORD V. MORRIS FOR RIGHT OF WAY FOR STATE HIGHWAY 16 On this the 16th day of July, 1976, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of acquiring a parcel of land designated by the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation as right of way Parcel No. 47 from Dorothy McDowell Morris and husband, Clifford V. Morris, for the reconstruction of State Highway 16; and it appearing to the Court that, as a result of prior negotiations an agreed consideration for the conveyance of the said Parcel No. 47 has been arrived at, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Schw~thelm seconded by Commissioner Stone and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County offers to pay Dorothy McDowell Morris and Clifford V. Morris the sum of $720.00 as compensation for land and damages for their conveyance to the State of Texas a parcel of land comprising 0.302 acres out of Survey No. 1174, James Spicer, and Survey No. 1845 J. F. Bird, with payment being made upon approval for filing and recordation by the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation of their properly executed right of way deed, which approval shall be conditioned on final title approval and payment of all ad valorem taxes, including current taxes heretofore assessed against the property conveyed, and it isf:urthe~rdered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw, a voucher on the Highway 16 right of way fund in the amount of $720.00 payable to Dorothy McDowell Morris and husband, Clifford V. Morris, which voucher shall be delivered upon final approval for filing and recordation by the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation of the right of way deed as aforesaid.
