State Highv;ay and Public Transportation Commission cn May 23 19 77 >
for the improvement by the State Departn;ent of Highways and Public transportation
of the roads described below and that xerr County agrees to furnish
all required right of way free of cost to the State:
A Spur extending from State Highway 27, 1.4 Miles Southeast
of Kerrville City Limit, Southeast to Kerrville Airport, a
distance of approximately 1.3 Miles

LII~REAS, in L'ERR COUIITY, the City of Kerrville and Kerr County have, by
Joint Resolution, requested development of a route to the Kerrville Air-
port; and
LIIIEREAS, an analysis indicates that this request will provide an improved
facility; _

tending from State Biginaay 27, 1.4 miles Southeast of Kerrville City Limit;
Southeast to Rerrville Airport, a distance of approximat-cly 1.3 miles, sub=
sect to the condition that the City of Kerrville and Kerr County will furnisi~
all required right of way clear of obstructions and free of cost to the State
with acquisition procedures to be in accordance with applicable State laws
governing acquisition policies for acquiring real property.
Upon acceptance of the provisions of this Order by the appropriate officials
of the City of Kerrville and Y.err County, the Engineer-Director is directed
to proceed with preliminary engineering, includinU preparation of right of
way data, to turn over such data to the appropriate officials fox procure-
tmnt of the required right of way, and to proceed in the most feasible and
economical manner with construction of Gradin,, Structures and Surfacing at
an estimated cost of $20b,000, financing the cost in the 1973 Special Re-
habilitation and State highway Safety and Bettenicnt and Farm to Market
Road Improvement Program.
This Order is sub'ect to acceptance by the City of Kerrville and Kerr County
and if not accepted within 90 days of the dato hereof, the action herein ctm-
tained shall be automatically cancelled.
