COLLECTOR, FOR APPOINTMENT OF HARRIET DIXON AS CHIEF DEPUTY
TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR AND SALARY ADJUSTMENTS OF HARRIET
DIXON AND BONNIE MARIE ABLES, DEPUTY TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR
On this the 14th day of March 1977, upon motion by Commissioner
Stone, seconded by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously
approved the application of Doris Lee Smith, Tax Assessor-
Collector of Kerr County, Texas, for appaintment of Harriet Dixon
as Chief Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector and that her salary be
set at $7200.00 per annum, effective March 1, 1977 and that
the salary of Bonnie Marie Ables, Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector,
be set at $6300.00 per annum, effective March 1, 1977.

Gentlemen:
I have appointed Harriet Dixon as my chief deputy,
effective March 1, 1977. I respectfully request
that you give consideration to a salary of $7200.00
per anum for this position.
I also respectfully request a merit raise for Bonnie
Marie Ables from the amount of $5760.00 to $6300.00
per anum. This employee has been employed by Kerr
County for approximately one year and her responsi-
bility and workload are the same as one other deputy
drawing the same salary in this office.
