ORDER NO, 12871 ORDER SETTING PAY OF GRAND JURORS, PETIT JURORS AND SPECIAL VENIREMEN IN
-` DISTRICT COURT AND OF JURORS IN COUNTY COURT
On this the 10th day of January 1977, came on to be heard and considered by the Court,
the matter of fixing the compensation of Grand Jurors, Petit Jurors and Special Veniremen
in the District Court of Kerr County and of Jurors in the County Court of Kerr County, as is
required to be done annually by Article 2122, Vernons Civil Statutes, Article 1056 of the
Code of Criminal Procedure and after due consideration, it is ordered on motion by Commis-
sioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Garrett and unanimously approved by the Court, that
the compensation to be paid during the year 1977 ,and until further orders of the Court, to
all Grand Jurors and Petit Jurors and Special Ven:iremen shall be fixed at $5.00 per day,
including those summoned but excused, provided however, that those County and Justice of the
Peace and District Court Jurors and Grand Jurors <actually impaneled and sworn, shall be paid
$7.50 per day, with such compensation to be paid out of the Jury Fund of Kerr County.

NO. 12872 ACCOUNTING FIRM OF PRESSLER, THOMPSON f: COMPANY EMPLOYED TO AUDIT BOOKS FOR 1976
On this the 10th day oŁ January 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the professional services of
Pressler, Thompson & Company be employed to audit the books of the County and Precinct
Officials of Kerr County, Texas, for the calendar year 1976.

NO. 12873 ORDER SETTING COURTHOUSE HOLIDAYS FOR 1977
On this the 10th day oŁ January 1977, came on to be considered by the Court the day and
dates to be fixed by the Court as legal holidays for the year 1977, also that the Courthouse
shall be closed on those days and the Court is of the opinion that the following days and
dates are and shall be declared as legal holidays for the County:

NO, 12874 ORDER REQUESTING CHAS. SCHREINER BANK, TRUSTEE OF THE CHARLES SCHREZNER ROAD
FUND, TO MAKE EXPENDITURE OF ACCRUED EARNINGS FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING
RIGHT OF WAY FOR STATE EXTENSION OF F. M. ROAD 1341
On this the 10th day of January, 1977, came on to be heard and considered by the Court,
acting in its capacity as Advisory Trustees of the Charles Schreiner Road Fund, pursuant
to judgment entered in Cause No. 6127 on the docket of the Second Thirty-eighth Judicial
District Court of Kerr County, Texas, the matter of advising the Chas. Schreiner Bank of
Kerrville, Texas, Trustee of the Charles Schreiner Road Fund, as to the purposes for which
earnings of said Trust Fund which have accrued during the year 1976 might be expended in
furtherance of the purposes Łor which said trust i,s created;
And it appeazing to the Court that accrued earnings from said Trust Fund could be ap-
propriately and beneficially used to assist in the financing the cost of right of way pro-
curement for the extension of F. M. Road 1341 in tlhe Cypress Creek area from its present
State maintained eastern terminus for an additional 3.9 miles to intersect with Interstate
Highway No. 10 at its Cypress Creek interchange;

And it further appearing to the Court that the anticipated costs of procuring said
right of way will be material, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court that the Commissioners' Court of
Kerr County, acting in its opacity as Advisory Trustee of the Charles Schreiner Road Fund,
hereby recommends that the Chas. Schreiner Bank of Kerrville, Texas, Trustee of the said
Charles Schreiner Road Fund, expend such funds as shall accrue as the earnings of said fund
for the year 1976 for the purpose of aiding the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County in the
procurement of right of way for the proposed extension of F. M. Road 1341 as aforesaid.
And it is further recommended that the Chas Schreiner Bank make payment of such accrued
funds when they become available to the Kerr County Treasure:c for deposit in the F. M. 1341
right of way fund within the Kerr County Treasury Account.

NO. 12875 ORDER ESTABLISHING F. M. 1341 RIGHT-OF-WAY FUND
On this the 10th day of January 1977, upon motion made 'by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the County Treasurer be directed
to establish a fund to be known as F. M. 1341 Right-of-Way Fund on the books of the Treasurer.

NO. 12876 ORDER FOR PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF COUNTY DEPOSITORY FOR TWO YEAR PERIOD
On this the 10th day of January 1977, came on to be considered by the Court the necessity
to make notice by publication for the County Depository for two ensuing years, as per Article
2544, Vernon's Texas Statutes, and it appearing to the Court that such notice should be in
compliance with Article 2544 V.T.S. to enter into a contract with any banking corporation,
association or individual banker of said County, for the Depository of the County Funds,
County and District Court Trust Funds and County Public School Funds of said County in any
bank; therefore, on motion duly made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Lich
and unanimously approved by the Court, that the County Judge be, and is hereby directed to
issue such notice of publication in the official newspaper of Kerr County, located within
the City of Kerrville, Kerr County, Texas, within twenty days before the Regular February
Term, to comply with said Article 2544, V.T.S.

NO. 12877 ORDER DIRECTING PAYMENT OF UNEXPENDED BALANCE OF COUNTY COURT PROBATION FEES ON
DEPOSIT IN THE GENERAL FUND OF KERR COUNTY INTO THE 216TH DISTRICT PROBATION FUND
OF THE KERB COUNTY TREASURER
On this the 10th day of January, 1977 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of complying with the provisions of paragraph 10 of an order entered on the 4th
day of January, 1977 by Hon. Robert R. Barton, Judge of the 216th Judicial District concern-
ing probation services for certain counties within said Judicial District, a copy of which
is recorded in the minutes of said Court in the office of the District Clerk of Kerr County;
and it appearing to the Court that misdemeanor probation fees collected through the County
Court of Kerr County from 1973 through December 31, 1976 have heretofore been deposited with
the County Treasurer of Kerr County in the County's General Fund in the aggregate amount
of 512,585.00 as per copy of schedule filed herewith, and that expenditures of such funds
aggregating 54,342.50 have heretofore been made in the form of office rental payments for
the Kerr County Probation Services office, and that an unexpended balance of such probation
funds remains on deposit in the Kerr County General Fund as of January 1, 1977 in the amount
