~ ~ ;:? the probation service shall be subject to administrative approval and authorization by the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County in the same manner as applied to the expenditure of other funds of Kerr County, subject however to such appropriate directives as may be ordered by the 216th District Court. 5. A. While actual rates of compensation to be paid personnel employed in the rendi- tion of probation services shall be fixed by the Judge of the 216th District Court, actual payments of salaries and allowances shall be paid such personnel on a monthly basis pursuant to appropriate administrative orders of the Kerr County Commissioners' Court, with payment being made from the 216th District Probation Fund maintained by the County Treasurer of Kerr County. B. Monthly employee contributions for FICA and County Retirement Benefit participa- tion together with other applicable withholdings shall be regularly withheld by the County Treasurer as in the case of other payrolls. C. Employer contributions for FICA, retirement contributions, hospitalization benefits and similar purposes will be paid monthly by the County Treasurer out of the 216th District Probation Fund. D. Monthly office rental payments will be paid out: of the 216th District Probation Fund by the County Treasurer at rates heretofore set or subsequently ordered. E. All other charges and expenses generated by they operation of said probation services shall be paid by the Kerr County Commissioners' Court out of the 216th District Probation Fund as in the case of the payment of other County bills, normally at each regular monthly term of said Commissioners' Court and subject to the prior approval by the Chief Probation Officer. On motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Lich, and unanimously approved by the Court, the foregoing order is entered of record this the 10th day of January, 1977. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12879 ORDER AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING REGULAR MONTHLY PP,YMENTS OF KERR COUNTY'S PRO RATA SHARE OF ESTIMATED OPERATIONAL COSTS OF 216TH JUD7:CIAL DISTRICT PROBATION SERVICES On this the 10th day of January, 1977 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of authorizing regular monthly payments of Kerr County's pro rata share of the estimated budgeted operational costs of the 216th Judicial District Probation Services; and it appearing to the Court that pursuant to the order of Hon. Robert R. Barton, Judge of the 216th Judicial District, an estimated budget for the year 1977 for the operational costs of said probation service has been established and that the budgeted costs have been prorated among the five participating counties on a population basis, and that each county has been directed to pay one twelfth of its pro rata assessment on or before the 10th day of each month, commencing with the January, 1977 payment which shall be made to the County Treasurer of Kerr County by the 10th day of February, 1977, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Stone, and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County's first monthly payment be made to the County Treasurer of Kerr County for deposit in the 216th District Probation Fund, such payment to be made by voucher drawn on the General Fund of Kerr County in the amount of $1,323.25 less however t:he aggregate sum of probation fees collected during the month of January, 1977 through the County Court, the District Courts, and the Probation Services office from Kerr County probationers; and it is further ordered that subsequent monthly payments be made each month an the basis herein set forth ~~3 ;; until further ordered by the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, provided however that any future changes in the pro rata assessment of the total monthly amount to be paid by Kerr County which may be directed by the 216th District Court shall be automatically implemented without further orders of the Kerr County Commissioners' Court.
