On this the 10th day of January 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved partial payments to Lester B. Whitton,
P. E. and A. B. Swank for professional services, as per contract, for the Annex to the Kerr
County Courthouse, in the amount of 57523.10, and the Clerk and Treasurer are hereby authoriz-
ed to draw a voucher in the amount of 56,114.66 out of the Courthouse and Jail Construction
No. 2 Fund and a voucher in the amount of $1,408.44 out of the Courthouse and Jail Construc-
tion No. 1 Fund, payable to Lester B. Whitton, P. E. and A. B. Swank, F. A. I. A.

On this the 10th day of January 1977, came on to be heard and considered by the Court

'' the matter of investing certain funds currently on deposit and for the amounts and period of
time as listed below:

Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the above mentioned investments, in Inter-
est Bearing Certificates of Deposits, with the Chas. Schreiner Bank, which investments shall
be for the amounts and period of time as shown above.
And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw proper
vouchers on the funds aforementioned and in the amounts above set forth to effect the afore-
said investments with the Chas. Schreiner Bank.

NO. 12882 JOINT RESOLUTION - KERRVILLE CITY COUNCIL AND KERR COUNTY COMMISSIONERS' COURT
WHEREAS, there is a need for more desirable access to the Kerrville Municipal Airport
from the City of Kerrville thus improving coordination of various modes of transportation in
this area, and
WHEREAS, a State Spur Road from S. H. 27 to the Kerrville Municipal Airport would
accomplish this, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Kerrville and Kerr County to cooperate with the ~~
State Department of Highways and Public Transportation in the development of this project in
Kerr County;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Kerrville acting through ita City
Council and Kerr County acting through its Commissioners' - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Court do hereby request the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation to ~;repare
in cooperation with these bodies a plan for development of said State Spur Road, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Kerrville and Kerr County acting through their
governing bodies do hereby pledge their full cooperation in establishing location for said State
Spur Road, and will be responsible for the protection and furnishing of all necessary right
of way and any necessary utility adjustments, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Kerrville and Kerr County acting through their
governing bodies express to the State Highway and Public Transportation Commission of Texas
full confidence in their service to the citizens of Texas.
The foregoing resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of the Commissioners' Court of
Kerr County pursuant to Order No. 12882, on motion by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by
Commissioner Lich, on the 10th day of January, 1977.
