bid may be withdrawn for 30 days after the time set for receipt of the proposals. The bidders
will notify their suppliers and sub-contractors that this project is exempt from all City and
State sales taxes.
BIDDERS are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves of all
local conditions, and carefully examine the glans, specifications and other document8. Should
a bidder find discrepancies in, or omissions from, the plena, specifications or other documents,
or should he question their meaning, he should at once notify the Engineer and obtain clari-
fication prior to submitting any bid.
In case of ambiguity or lack of clarity in stating the contract price, the County reserves
the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof. in addition, the Commie-
sinners Court of Kerr County, Texas, reserves the right to waive any informality in or to
reject any and all bids.

Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved that Lester B. Whitton, P, E. and A. B.
Swank, F.A.I.A., be authorized to make necessary changes in plane for the Kerr County Detention
Facility, to conform with requirements of the Texas Commission on Jail Standards and National
Clearing House for Criminal Justice Planning and Architecture.

the letter request of Chas. Schreiner Bank, the County Depository of Kerr County, to substitute
one 51,000,000 Federal National Mortgage Association Debenture for one $1,000.,000 Twelve Federal
Land Bank Bond now pledged to secure that certain Depository Pledge Contract entered Into
between the said Bank and Kerr County, Texas, as recorded in Volume 7, page 210 of the Bond
Record of Kerr County, Texas, on March 7, 1975;
And it appearing to the Court that the Depository Bank desires to redeem said Twelve
Federal Land Bank Bond and that the said Bank should properly be allowed to make a substitution
of acceptable securities,
