O-O-o-O-O-O-O-O-O-O ~~ NO. 12895 ORDER AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF QUITCLAIM DEED AS TO ABANDONED COUNTY ROAD RIGHT OF WAY ABUTTING LOT 1 OF BLOCK 1 OF THE VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS SUBDIVISION OF THE CITY OF KERRVILLE On this the 28th day of January, 1977 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of granting a quitclaim deed as to a small strip of abandoned County Road right of way lying between the south boundary of Lot 1, Block 1 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Sub- division of the City of Kerrville and the north right of way line of State Spur 98, also known as Thompson Drive in the City of Kerrville; and it appearing to the Court that there remains a small strip of land along the south boundary of said Lot 1, Block 1 out of a former County roadway granted Kerr County by Mrs. Line Eckstein, et al, in the year 1936 by instrument recorded in Vol. 60, page 625 of the Kerr County Deed Records, which strip of land was not incorporated into the State right of way of State Spur 98 at the time of its construction, and that said small remainder is no longer required for road purposes and further does not serve any useful public purpose; It is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commia- aioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court that the County Judge be authorized to execute a quitclaim deed on behalf of Kerr County to Heart O~ the Hills Yost 1480, Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, Inc., the owner of Lot 1, Block 1 of the said Veterans of Foreign Wars Subdivision; which quitclaim deed shall be to that portion of Sarvey 144, James H. Cocks granted Xerr County by Lina Eckstein et al by instrument recorded in Vol. 60 page 625, Kerr County Deed Records which lies between the north right of way line of State Spur 98 and the south boundary as platted of Lot 1 Block 1 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars
