Judicial District Court of Kerr County, pursuant to Article 7345b, Texas Civil Statutes, the

and the State of Texas arising from delinquent taxes due them and constituting a lien on the
property which is subject to the said delinquent tax suit, it is ordered on motion by Commis-
sioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, and unanimously approved by the Court that
County Attorney, James C. Nogues, be authorized and directed to proceed to file an intervention
in the said causes as above set forth and otherwise proceed according to law in this matter.

NO. 12895 ORDER AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF QUITCLAIM DEED AS TO ABANDONED COUNTY ROAD RIGHT OF
WAY ABUTTING LOT 1 OF BLOCK 1 OF THE VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS SUBDIVISION OF THE
CITY OF KERRVILLE
On this the 28th day of January, 1977 came on to be heard and considered by the Couzt
the matter of granting a quitclaim deed as to a small strip of abandoned County Road right of
way lying between the south boundary of Lot 1, Block 1 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Sub-
division of the City of Kerrville and the north right of way line of State Spur 98, also known
as Thompson Drive in the City of Kerrville; and it appearing to the Court that there remains
a small strip of land along the south boundary of said Lot 1, Block 1 out of a former County
roadway granted Kerr County by Mrs. Line Eckstein, et al, in the year 1936 by instrument
recorded in Vol. 60, page 625 of the Kerr County Deed Records, which strip of land was not
incorporated into the State right of way of State Spur 98 at the time of its construction,
i• and that said small remainder is no longer required for road purposes and further does not serve
;;. any useful public purpose; It is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commia-
aioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court that the County Judge be authorized to
execute a quitclaim deed on behalf of Kerr County to Heart O~ the Hills Post 1480, Veterans
of Foreign wars of the United States, Inc., the owner of Lot 1, Block 1 of the said Veterans
of Fozeign Wars Subdivision; which quitclaim deed shall be to that portion of Sarvey 144,
James H. Cocke granted Kerr County by Lina Eckstein et al by instrument recorded in Vol. 60
page 625, Kerr County Deed Records which lies between the north right of way line of State
Spur 98 and the south boundary as platted of Lot 1 Block 1 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars

On this the 28th day of January 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the request of the Kiwanis Club of
Kerrville, for use of the grounds adjacent to the Kerr County Agricultural Building on April
11, 197?, for two performances of the Carson & Barnes Circus, at no charge for use of the
grounds other than cleanug.

NO. 12897 ACCEPTANCE OF LETTER PROPOSAL OF MOORE SERVICE TO PROVIDE FOR PUBLIC LANDFILL
ACCESS
On this the 28th day of January 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the acceptance of the Letter Proposal
of Moore Service to provide for public access for Kerr County residents to permit disposal
of household refuse at the City of Kerrville landfill site and to additionally provide for
refuse collection for the Kerr County Courthouse as per terms and conditions set forth in
said proposal, as filed with the Clerk of the Court.

NO. 12898 ORDER TO ADVERTISE FOR OFFICE FURNITURE FOR USE BX THE COUNTY CLERK'S OFFICE AND
TAX-ASSESSOR COLLECTOR'S OFFICE OF KERB COUNTY
On this the 28th day of January 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that the County Judge be authorized to
advertise for bids for office furniture for use by the County Clerk's Office and Tax Asaesaor-
Collector's Office of Karr County, Texas.
Bide to be received until 1:30 o'clock P. M., March 14th, 1977, at which time all bids
will be publicly opened and read. Bids must be for furniture which complies with specifica-
tions on file in the office of the County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas.
Kerr County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Notices to be published in the official newspaper of Kerr County, Texas, February 3rd
and February 10th, 1977.
