M., Central Standard Time, in the Commissioners' Courtroom of the Kerr County Courthouse, Kerrville, Texas, with the following officers present: JULIUS R. NEUNHOFFER EARL GARRETT CLINTON M. SALLEE VICTOR LICH ROGER STONE and with the following absent: None, COUNTY JUDGE COMMISSIONER PRECINCT NO. 1 COMMISSIONER PRECINCT NO. 2 COMMISSIONER PRECINCT NO. 3 COMMISSIONER PRECINCT NO. 4 said meeting being open to the public and notice of such meeting having been given in advance as prescribed by Article 6252-17, Section 3A, V.A.T.C.5. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o The taking and receiving of bids proposed to be let by the County for the construction of a Correction/Detention Facility for Kerr County, within the shell structure of the Annex to the Kerr County Courthouse, was declared closed at this time. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o Four sealed bids were opened and read aloud by the County Judge, Julius R. Neunhoffer. Court recessed until 3:00 o'clock P. M. to permit Architect to confer with apparent low bidders. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o Court re-convened with all members present and the following proceedings were had: ORDER NO. 12933 ACCEPTANCE OF BID OF C. A. LOGEMAN CO., INC. FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A CORRECTION/DETENTION FACILITY FOR KERR COUNTY, WITHIN THE SHELL STRUCTURE OF THE ANNEX TO THE KERB COUNTY COURTHOUSE On this the 8th day of Mazch 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Lich, and unanimously approved by the Court, that pursuant to recommendation received by A. B. Swank, F.A.I.A. and Lester B. Whitton, P. E., that the low base bid of C. A. Logeman Co., Inc. of San Antonio, Texas, be accepted as the lowest bid, in the amount of S581,800.00, for the construction of a Correction/Detention Facility for Kerr County, within the Shell Structure of the Annex to the Kerr County Courthouse, acceptance subject to final approval by the U. S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12934 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF LOYAL VALLEY NO. FOUR On this the 8th day of March 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Loyal Valley No. Four, provided however, that Kerr County will not assume responsibility for maintenance of roads thereon dedicated, until such time that roads have been paved and acceptable to the Commis- .! sinner of Kerr County Precinct No. One, and further, that the foregoing conditions be entered on the face of the Plat, prior to the filing of said Plat in the Plat Records of Kerr County, Texas. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12935 OFFER TO MORRIS K. ROAD 1341 On this the 8th day of March, 1977, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of acquiring a parcel of land designated by the State Department of Highways and together with a channel easement designated as Parcel 8 Public Transportation as Parcel No. 8,/(E), from Morris K. Holekamp and wife, Gertrude B. Holekamp, for the extension of F. M. Road 1341 from its present eastern terminus to the Cypress Creek Road exit of Interstate Highway 10; and it appearing to the Court that, as a result of prior negotiations an agreed consideration for the conveyance of the said Parcels
