Ables, Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector of Kerr County, Texas, be ratified and confirmed, effec-
tive July 15, 1977, with regret.

N0. 13037 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF EMMIE M. MUENKER, COUNTY CLERK, FOR APPOINTMENT OF
JUDY HOLMES, AS DEPUTY COUNTY CLERK OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 11th day of July 1977, came on to be considered by the Court, the applica-
tion of Emmie M. Muenker, County Clerk, for authority to appoint and deputize Judy Holmes as
Deputy County Clerk, and it appearing to the Court that said application should be approved,
therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Garrett, the
Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to deputize Judy Holmes as a Deputy
County Clerk and that she be paid a salary of $5760.00 per annum, effective the date of her
qualification, the same being July 11, 1977, payable out of Officers Salary Fund.

On this the 11th day of July 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by
Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of Betty Janine
Hough be ratified and confirmed, with regret effective August 15, 1977.

N0. 13034 APPOINTMENT OF EDDIE DIETERT TO THE KERR COUNTY HISTORICAL SURVEY COMMISSION
On this the 11th day of July 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that Eddie Dietert be appointed to the
Kerr County Historical Survey Commission.

N0. 13040 APPOINTMENT OF ELECTION OFFICIALS FOR THE YEAR 1977
On this the 11th day of July 1977, came on to be considered by the Court the appointment
of the necessary election officials for the ensuing year, for each of the nineteen precincts
of Kerr County and the absentee box at the Courthouse, as shown on Pages 64 thru 70, Volume 2,
Record of Election Judges for Kerr County, Texas.
Motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded by Commissioner Lich and unanimously approv-
ed by the Court.

N0. 13041 ORDER AUTHORIZING INVESTMENT OF SURPLUS FUNDS IN CERTIFICATES OF DEPOSITS WITH
CHAS. SCHREINER BANK
On this the 11th day of July 1977, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the
matter of investing certain funds currently on deposit and for the amounts and period of time
as listed below:

made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved
the above mentioned investments in Interest Bearing Certificates of Deposits, with the Chas.
Schreiner Bank, which investments shall be for the amounts and period of time as shown above.
And it is further ordered that the Clerk and Treasurer be authorized to draw proper
vouchers on the funds aforementioned and in the amounts above set forth to effect the afore-
said investments with the Chas. Schreiner Bank.

N0. 13042 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF DEER HILL ADDITION - UNIT 3 TO THE TOWN OF INGRAM, TEXAS
On this the 11th day of July 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by
Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Deer Hill Addition - Unit 3
to the Town of Ingram, Texas, subject to the provisions that actual maintenance of roadways
will not be assumed by Kerr County until residential development shall justify said maintenance.

N0. 13043 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF OAK VIEW ESTATES
On this the 11th day of July 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by
Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Oak View Estates, subject to
the provisions that actual maintenance of roadways will not be assumed by Kerr County until
residential development shall justify said maintenance, and when roads are constructed to
specifications of the Commissioner of Kerr County Precinct No. 2.

On this the 11th day of July 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by

N0. 13045 ORDER APPROVING REQUEST OF CONTRACTOR, C. A. LOGEMAN, INC., FOR PAYMENT N0. 3
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF KERR COUNTY CORRECTION/DETENTION FACILITY
On this the 11th day of July 1977, came on to be examined by the Court, the Contractor's
request for Payment No. 3 of the Construction Contract for the Kerr County Correction/Detention
Facility.
Said request for payment having been examined by Lester B. Whitton, P. E. and A. B. Swank,
F.A.I.A. and recommended to the Court that payment be made to C. A. Logeman, Inc., in the
amount of $38,150.69. Therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner
Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the Contractor's Request for Payment No. 3 of the
Construction Contract and the Clerk and Treasurer are hereby authorized to draw a voucher
~ the amount of $38.150.69, payable to C. A. Logeman, Inc., out of the Kerr County Jail Construc-
tion Fund.
