of Deposits, pending possible need of these funds for expenditure, it is ordered on motion
made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved
the above mentioned investments in Interest Bearing Certificates of Deposits, with the Chas.
Schreiner Bank, which investments shall be for the amounts and period of time as shown above.
And it is further ordered that the Clerk and Treasurer be authorized to draw proper
vouchers on the funds aforementioned and in the amounts above set forth to effect the afore-
said investments with the Chas. Schreiner Bank.

Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Deer Hill Addition - Unit 3
to the Town of Ingram, Texas, subject to the provisions that actual maintenance of roadways
will not be assumed by Kerr County until residential development shall justify said maintenance.

residential development shall justify said maintenance, and when roads are constructed to

FOR CONSTRUCTION OF KERR COUNTY CORRECTION/DETENTION FACILITY
On this the 11th day of July 1977, came on to be examined by the Court, the Contractor's
request for Payment No. 3 of the Construction Contract for the Kerr County Correction/Detention
Facility.
Said request for payment having been examined by Lester B. Whitton, P. E. and A. B. Swank,
F.A.I.A. and recommended to the Court that payment be made to C. A. Logeman, Inc., in the
amount of $38,150.69. Therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner
Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the Contractor's Request for Payment No. 3 of the
Construction Contract and the Clerk and Treasurer are hereby authorized to draw a voucher
m the amount of $38.150.69, payable to C. A. Logeman, Inc., out of the Kerr County Jail Construc-
tion Fund.

Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the request of Paul Fields, Sheriff, for
appointment of L. H. Purvis as Deputy Sheriff and Special Investigator of Kerr County, Texas,
and that his salary be set at $2400.00 per annum, plus expense allowance of $200.00 per month,
plus auto allowance of $250.00 per month, until such time as County owned transportation is
furnished. Said salary and allowances effective July 15, 1977, payable out of Revenue Sharing
Trust Fund.

July 1, 1977,and that his salary be set on an hourly basis @ $2.90 per hour, payable out of
Officers Salary Fund.

this his application and petition, pursuant to the provisions of Art. 6705 V.T.C.S., signed by
